I've had this problem repeatedly for about a week now. I've put an "allow acess" on it but in a couple of days it's blocked again. Keeps me from viewing most pics on here and I can't post any without resetting the defaults. Just started last weekend.

I had a problem with PIP that was similar and I have McAfee.
Go into McAfee and go to web & e-mail protection.
Click on firewall.
Go to the bottom and click on netguard.
It should hve the IP address that was blocked.
Click on that and it allows you to manually ok it when you hit edit.
Worked for me.
Mike

Thanks. I did that last Tuesday and now again this morning. Somehow it got switched back , maybe during a scan? I was surprised that it was happening all of a sudden!

I don`t know, I was just unchecking netguard and it wouldn`t work that way until I went into the IP block part and since then it has been working fine.

Because McAfee stinks IMO, it's all blotware. It can't detect a real virus if you had one. Same with Norton.

Get a real-time working AV like AVG, Avast, or Kaspersky. You'll be much better off.

I had Premium McAfee that came with my laptop. A few weeks ago I did a download that put a nasty virus in that shut the whole thing down. Taijiguy fixed it for me.
I have Avast now.

No problem, it was a pain going into threads with pics I had posted just to see the red x.
