That is a very nice looking GT.... Personally I would leave it alone. The wheels and the gold and silver look nice and are factory. Unless you are having paint issues and it needs a repaint? Is it all faded on top and scratched on the other side???? That is a nice color tho... I used to have a Ford Ranger that was an indigo/purple color that in daylight was an awesome deep blue. I think a fiero in that color would be really cool... Kinda like Jscotts car but a tinge more purple.... Peace
As for the Gold. I have owned this car since 1998 its been gold since 1986. I have already repainted it once gold, and now its almost due for another paint job. It still looks great and people think I am crazy, but it really isn't going to last much longer.

this car belonged to Jimmy. That's his PFF name if you want to try to search for more. These are from the Dells. He's from MN. Care was an 87GT with ttops and a V8. IIRC, he was rear ended and totaled the car. SI blue is one of the top choices for colors for me. ------------------ SSFiero@Aol.com 87 Gt-5spd-62k miles.

What year Si blue? I really like the 2007-2009 Si blue (as that's what I have for my DD) compared to the lighter color 2003-2006 Si Blue. When freshly clean and waxed the metal flake stands out very nice. Problem is you cant touch it up, Hood repaint is the only choice to make it look correct. Plus dont get the real honda paint, it's garbage. my 2007 Si had hairline cracking in the paint that is because the paint is a very low grade paint.
I personally hate gold, brown, champange type of colors. I was offered once a gold Fiero for free and I declined because of color (space too). Those rims will pop very nicely with blue. The new Lexus IS250s also come in a very nice blue. Very rare maybe as I have seen only one in that color.

To each his own i guess.

I love the color no regrets at all. Mine is the earlier electron blue the 2003 i think it is. You can see the car looks different in daylight then in the flourscent in the garage. Its an almost exact match for the sonic boom color in the dupont hot hues line. My clear coat is a dupont chroma premier painted over a black primer, and as you can see im still buffing it out and tweaking the finish. Thank you for the compliment as well.

What brand and size are your wheels? They look pretty nice.
The wheels are made by a company called Stern. The are 18"s. I painted the center caps silver to match the wheels and added a Fiero emblem decal to keep a nice uniform look.
The color and primer were laid down by a friend who works at a local macco all prep and finish work was done by me. My hoa had me on their most watched list after painting my truck in the garage. I think it was my spitefull neighbor who turned me in, so i had to have it shot and baked off premisis. Pissed me off too because i wanted to do a pannel off paint job. The car was originaly black with silver trim, and i kinda found it rather boring.

Anyone good with photoshop? I'm interested in doing a black and white interior but I wouldn't mind a preview of my imagination. Doors - Handles stock black, handle covers matte white, vinyl black, armrests white, carpet black. Floors - Carpets black, seats black and white with custom stitch work. Dash - Black (not sure to gloss it or matte it to match the white) with vents matte white. Gauge Face, Stereo face/panel & shifter panel - Not sure what to do with the silver/aluminum finish. Ideas? Black with white trim?
