Oh, yeah, KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!! Oh. Crap that would perpetuate the fire myth. Uh, push it off a cliff then!
I initially thought you were just kidding, and that you'd for some reason simply depicted a photo-shopped Fiero. Then I saw the original craigslist ad, with that same photo, which pictures a four-cylinder, Duke-engined Fiero sporting white 24-inch rims.
Despite the Fiero's undeserved reputation for catching on fire all the time --- which the Fiero in that craigslist ad unfortunately didn't --- I think your first suggestion nonetheless is the correct one:

Not necessarily, but it wouldn't surprise me. (But then, I've been around long enough to become cynical. Not much surprises me.) They tend to have a lot of disposeable income that can't be used where it will create a trail. No better place than "Bubba's Dubs".
When Fieros were fairly new, I remember seeing a fiero with a set of 13" or 14" gold-spoked Daytons sticking about 8 inches out of the wheel wells. It didn't look any less stupid than the one in the pic. (No. I don't remember if it had dingle-balls in the windows or angel hair on the dashboard.)

Are you on government assistance? Serious question.
Funny how you will try to belittle a guy for giving his opinion. I myself don't like it, but it doesn't look any worse then some of the other stupid things I've seen done to Fieros on this forum.

Herp Derp, funny how I took my post down then you posted. I felt like a ******* but go ahead and stir the pot.
Maybe he just has bad taste? Maybe he found the wheels on CL for a cheap price?
Maybe you should stop jumping to conclusions and lighten up? However, I find this outcome highly unlikely…
You're pushing people's buttons here, and I want to know why.
I agree with him for the most part. Thats usually the reality around here. If not, they prob stole them from a drug dealer.... If you see a car with these, just check out the driver and they usually fit the profile. Here thats like putting an ad in the Yellow Pages saying buy here.

the guy selling it is obviously not a true fiero inthusiast... ...he is some guy that sort of liked the fiero and bought it ...definatlely likes to look fhru donk magazines then obviously realized the two don't look so great together ....and now he is attempting to get his money back ...by selling it on craigs
