Wife tells me to act my age so-I buy a Fiero I don't think that's the age she meant. I told her when I was 25 I alsways wanted a BRAND NEW 85 GT. Now a few years later I can't buy that new one so a 25yr old 87 will do. She is still telling me I need to start acting my age SO.....
How old is a Fiero driver?
I' a sprightly 48. Anyone else? Am I hanging with too young a crowd?

Well I'm 42, I bought my first fiero in 1991. It was an 87 coupe, 4 banger 5 speed. Loved that car, took a beating and kept running right up to the day a truck ran a red light and t boned me. I gaurentee that fiero saved my life.

Just turned 20 last month. You'd be surprised to find that most Fiero owners are in your age group. People my age are too wrapped up in their lame Scion TCs/Altimas/ new econoboxes.

I'm 62, have an '87 GT 5spd. that will have a 3800na automatic soon, play drums in the church praise team(contemporary christian music), and drive a 2009 HHR SS automatic AA5 option(no rear side windows) w/Trifecta tune, catless downpipe and CAI; about 300hp 315torque. Also own a '76 Harley Superglide slightly modified. Thinking about maybe buying a Dwarf Racecar and trying my hand at the local dirt ovals.

44 here, wasn't able to get one when they first came out. My first one was an 84 Bumper-pad w/sunroof, I bought it in San Diego while I was stationed there in the Navy in 1996. Now I have a 87 SE that I am putting a 3800 SC in.
fffttt you will love driving a Dwarfcar, I used to race a 32 3 window while I was in the Navy, Now not over the road anymore I plan on getting back into racing Dwarfs.

Im 24. I've had 4 driving Fieros and a couple parts cars.
Bry73: How far along are you on your swap? We have 2 3800's at my house, one completed in an 86 base, one in progress going in an 86 GT. We should talk, im just down in Apple Valley.
Just turned 25 in March, I've owned my Fiero for almost 4 years. I still love it dearly. Just this morning I let my gf take it alone for the first time to take her daughter to school. I was like a parent waiting for my child to get home from their first date. What a nail biter. She loved it though, so now I gotta work on her getting one! =D

43 this year. I've been a hotrod car builder for decades, started motorcycles when I was 6, rebuilt my first bike with dad at 8. at 12-14 helped dad restore his 76 Cutless. My first car at 16 was a box of parts. I spent that summer completely building my car by hand. Lost a girlfriend to that car, she said I loved it more than her.... Yup, she was right.
Birthday's next month and I'll be 38. I've had my '84 2m4 since 1994. Waited ten years to get it - I was only 10 years old when I first drooled over saw one.

Turned 54 in April. So far us 54 year olds are in the majority
I worked for Pontiac Store at the time, and drove many new Fieros as company cars. The majority were V6 manual GT's. That's how I got hooked. Currently on my 3rd 88 GT 5-speed. This one happens to be a Mera.

just turned 28 myself, got my first fiero late last year (or was it early this year? meh). My 86GT has a lot of work ahead of it before it hits the road though. I first need to find space to start the work.
oh well, eventually.
FYI, I wanted a Fiero ever since around the time I dropped out of highschool (eventually went and got my GED), when I was about 17 or 18? Saw one in the parking lot where I was working at the time, and was immediately taken by it... took a few years till I figured out what it was.

54 and I have to say I feel it when the Classic Rock band I play in has gigs on both Friday and Saturday nights and I don`t get home until 3 AM both nights. I get up early and it takes me a couple of days to catch up on sleep.

I inherited my '86 SE from my Father almost 2 months ago... It has been in my family now for about 14 yrs.... ish.... maybe.... The Fiero was the Only Mid-eng, Rear-drive Affordable sports car, Built in the USA that I actually liked... and with some affordable upgrades it could easily look like the style car I love...
I'll be 32 on the 17th of this month. I've owned 4 Fiero's since i was 17. Been in more car accidents then anybody that i know, and only one while i was driving. Not sure how i made it this far.
Raydar: Wait a second... we have to grow up? Why was i not informed of this bit of knowledge?

I'm 71 and no you don't ! I've been into Fieros Since I made the choice between a Corvair and a Fiero, and then I joined this forum a looooooong time ago.I have a supercharged 3800 in an 88GT.And if I don't kick the bucket before my engine is done AGAIN(it lost both head gaskets on the dyno),my 87GTwill be GREAT with a turbocharged 383 ,bulletproof drivetrain etc. built by Jon Lagler

------------------ If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88MPH your gonna see some serious sh*t. If you give me torque and you take horsepower I'll kick your a$$ EVERY time. Life begins at 200MPH
