Am I wrong or has anyone seen info on the fiero in Hemmings sports and exotic car magazine? They have alot of other cars that make the fiero qualify for a write up.

The Fiero is not an exotic, so there's no reason for it to show up in any sort of mag like that. It doesn't yet qualify to be in a Hemmings issue also other than ads.

If it's going to appear anywhere besides a dedicated Pontiac mag, it would appear in something like Car & Driver or Automobile in their 'throw-back' sections, kind of when they look at particular cars of yester-year or interesting one-shot articles.

Fiero's have been ostacized by false/exzaggerated supposed-facts for so long now no writer/publishers wants to say anything good about them. Likely becuase they too do not knwo the facts.

In addition, whenever a writer does decide to do a new Fiero article, their "research" is reading all the old articles and rehashing the same inaccurate information.

I have a copy of Hemmings that has a decent sized article on the Fiero, I'll see if I can find it later today after class.

Hemmings Muscle Machines had a buyers guide article on the Fiero a few years ago.

They will get to it in time.

The Fiero is not the only sports car in the world nor the most popular with those who do not own them. Hemmings has has seveal stories in the regular motor news edition and like stated the Muscle Car Issue.
In time they will get to our car and do a good story.

The media bias is not like it used to be and often they would like to do more stories on FIero's but many publications seldom have a chance to find a really clean example at many meets. I know we get good turn outs at Fiero meets but many writers and magazines go to to the larger Pontiac and other meets. If you want noticed you need to be at shows like the POCI events or the Tripower National at Norwalk Ohio. These are the worlds largest events and often have many writers looking for cars to feature.

One other way to get into many magazines is to take a lot of very good photo's and then write up a quality story for a Magazine. I have done this gotten published and even paid. Trust me I am not a writer so if I can do it anyone can.

Magazines today have very small staffs of only a couple people who over see the publishing and they use many stories sent in and free lance writers to fill the pages. They look first for very intersting cars in top condition. Even then you still need quality photo's to even be considered to be published. They can fix your story but they can't fix your Photo's much.

Magazines look to do thing cheap and find ways to sell as many copies as possible. It is tough on them today as many have already folded or merged like Pontiac Enthusiast. The failure of Pontiac had nothing to do with that one. They will feature the most popular cars like the GTO and Firebirds but they still look for other good Pontiacs out there. While the FIero is not in every issues of HPP they have over the years featured it much more than many other forgotten models. So while we are not in the first string for the cover we can't complain too much as many cars like Sunbirds, Vibe and even the old Nova based Venturas often have a snow balls change of getting a story.
