This is what it looks like lit up: It also came in the Riviera, which is where I got mine from. It is known as the UB3 digital dash. There are several models of the UB3 dash, Oldsmobile, Buick and Chevy used the nomenclature, but the gauges look different for each.
Like everything else reatta. I dont think its going to be easy. I have one in my dad's reatta. it looks good but i find myself not paying attention to the speed because of it. It just dosent grab my attention like you think it would.

If it's analog then it shouldn't be too difficult. If it runs off a BCM and data bus then it's going to take some programming to make it work. Not impossible, but you have to be proficient at that type of thing. If I had to venture a guess I would say it's digital, but that is just a guess.

I don't have it installed. I am going to get with Tom Sweet and see if he can make me a wiring adapter that will get the tach to work.....wiring diagrams say it is the white wire, but that doesn't get it, unless going through a Buick cpu....

Ahh, that stinks, I'm waiting for a site to "allow me" to see the wiring diagram for the gauge so I can try to get it all working.
Darth Fiero and others have already tried this, if you looked at the Archives. As for the wiring, they got everything but the tachometer to work, as it needs serial data from the ECM to function. So If you want to piggyback a 3800 ECM just for the tachometer, you could most likely do so, if you found a spot to put it.
