makes me miss my gold 86 GT that I parted out and scrapped wayyyy to many good parts from. I know I and gonna catch hell from others, but I was new to the Fiero game and didnt realize how much I needed those shifter cables or power window motors and GOOD seats *kicks self*.

Ronnie, you know I can't post pix. This dail-up thing has me upset. If you have any pix of "Spirit" pls post them. Better still post yours even if it is yellow.
Here's a pic of my first Fiero. I bought it new in 1986. It took me through college, my first date with my wife, and my first year of marriage. In an impulsive act of stupidity, I traded it in 1990.
I ran a Carfax on it....it wound up in the Portland, Oregon area. It fell off the radar in 1997. I would move heaven and earth to have it back regardless of condition if I could just find it.
Pathetic, huh?

Second gold 86SE V6 4 speed. Its in need of a restoration but it is fully loaded and even has the stock "performance sound". Best of all... it all works. Needs a headliner, could run better, and needs a nose job where the bra used to be. Both factory wingless.

Is that a Opel GT in one of the pics?

I have a gold fiero GT and am going to repaint it. I am going to experiment a little i am going to add a lot more pearl to the same tone of gold if this makes sense. Basically i plan on having the original gold but with gold sparkles in it that change the shade of gold over different angles and light. The idea will be to able match up with original gold but add a modern flair to the paint that isnt over the top. The original gold fades fast and you may notice the darker original gold looks good.
My gold will be best described as... the factory tone of gold but highlighted with pearl to give a gold/silver/copper reflection metallic effect. I havent seen what i have in mind on a car but i my mate is spraypainter and says he knows some good paintmixers that can mix up what i desire. I was actually hoping i weren't the first to invision such a thing and we might have some other golds to look at.
Got any other shades of gold guys?

Yes. Its a 1970 Opel GT. More details and pics can be found here... https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...19-1-066624.html#p35 All I can say is I've never driven anything else quite like it. Very few fieros that could take it on in the corners.
Wow. Completely forgot about this thread. Lets see more Gold fieros!!! Now back to your regularly scheduled program...
