Gordo and I are still around. I returned to college full-time last Fall after a 29 year break, which has been keeping me plenty busy. Audrey has truly lived out her daily driver label and has been transporting my butt the 80-mile per day commute, thanks to my faithful mechanic.
We plan on attending Carlisle, but will need to make a stop on the way to don my cap and gown. Hope to see all y'all there.

O! i hope i can make it!! id love to see you guys again!! (i finally used those seat covers!! pics in thread in sig!)
Johnathon, Don't get me started on the power steering thing, that SOB. I bought it then he turns around and sold it to Rodney. In hind sight though I'm glad Rodney got it, it sounds like it was a POS according to Rodney.

Last time I talked to her on AIM was a few months ago (actually, I think it was probably about six months ago), she said she was pretty busy and wasn't on the internet much.
She stopped frequenting the forum a while before that, though, shortly after the engine in her Fiero blew up, if I recall correctly.
I am still here. Just not posting much. Got tired of some of the crap people were thowing my way.
I was wondering where you disappeared too. Glad your still around. Anything new on the drawing board
Is Jennifer still around? I don't remember seeing her post anything in recent history. She married someone on the forum didn't she? Wasn't it MinnGreen?

Any chance u can beg, and plead for her to come back ?? Wow what a beautiful smile !
Hey $Rich$ I'm still around, I just changed my name for posting.
What ever happened to Tina, don't see her here anymore either.
DXR-DAD - he did some nice embroidery stuff and stainless steel work, he dropped off the face of the earth, I even have a phone number for him, but that was disconnected as of a couple of years ago.
Pondski, is he still around?

GTDude - may he rest in peace. How many Fieros did he finally burn up? Was it 3 or 4?
I think a bunch of people left a couple of years ago when all the stuff was flying around here. I know I left for a while even had Cliff change my password so I couldn't post even if I wanted too.

I think the drama drove away alot of people, and the fact that no one was on the forum any more, they were all in girl with Fieros. But if you posted ANYTHING some one would flame something about they way it was posted, who posted it, and on and on. I stayed away for a long time, I want info, rubber not drama.
I'm sure Tina will show up again when it gets warmer and closer to the show circuit time.. but miss BatBoy..
Wow, someone actually missed me. Bonus that I got mentioned in the some sentence as lovely Tina. I still have my old silver V8 Fiero, the engine still needs replaced. That project sort of got put on the back burner for a while. There are some great folks here on the forum, but as mentioned, some of the drama got tiresome. But, I'll be back again from time to time, I always return.
Probably the main thing that happened to me is the fact I finally met my soulmate. Got married in June of 2005. I'm in heaven.
I have a "new" ride. Well, I've had it since Feb. 2005. It's a 2004 Pontiac GTO, you know, with the LS1 engine. Done some mods of course, just got it converted to LS6 this spring. Upgrading brakes and suspension now. Man, what a great car.

I heard someone mention Eric Schneck on the first page. That was the madman who built the front engine Fiero with the SBC in it. Eric relocated from Mass to Huntsville AL. Beth McLaughlan, also a Fiero enthusiast and his girlfriend made the move with him. Have't heard too much from this couple of late but I know that Eric has helped out on the Fiero Factorys website. Two nice folks that we miss at the NE and Mid Atlantic meets. Also what happened to Racincouple from PA? . They were a married mechanic team that mainly built modified Duke engined Fieros I remember Neil and also his wife Dawn who was a facinating girl. You could talk to Dawn about engines, transmissions brakes and everything else and she really kept the conversation going. I believe Dawn makes her living as an auto mechanic. They may have left the hobby but you don't find many couples that can jointly do mechanical work. What about Randy Agee, Rick Stewart, Bob & Penny Schlag, Joe Wyman, Bruce W. and Bob Nielson? SOme of these folks are long time Fiero owners. Will they be at Carlisle?
Still curious as to if anyone knows what has happened to Jelly2m8... actually I haven't seen anything from Ogre recently either although I haven't been on the forum much either.

We got a report on Anthony earler. He' s still tearing up the roads in the backwoods of Nova Scotia with his many Fieros. Anthony always won the distance award at Carlisle each year for coming to the meet from the Martimes of Canada. He's a nice guy and I hope that he decides to attend Carlisle this year
Old Lar: I knew that Bob and Penny were contemplating a move from Dover PA to Atlanta. Just didn't follow the move. Bob was a friendly guy and his wife was always willing to give a warm embrace when she saw you. Great folks. Real surprised that Bob sold Gargoyle his beloved Fiero. Bob and Penny didn't have any children so I guess that they were free to relocate anywhere that they pleased. With all this Bob went from being a former President of MAFOA and familiar figure at the mid atlantic meets to being Fieroless. They will be really missed in the Fiero community. Carlisle just won't seem the same without em but as they say nothing is forever.
Ping! I'm around. Saddly, I'm not racing Miata's (too rich for my budget), I'm racing Honda's in SCCA's Improved Touring. No fiero's at the time being, however, I might be in the market for a v-6 5 spd hardtop in the furture

I checked my ratings recently and noticed some names I hadnt seen for a while. No one mentioned me, I have recently come back after losing interest during the drama...
I can say there are a few names missing from I used to skim the forum more so in the past, and I haven't really been on that much lately. But what do I need to be doing on here much when I haven't had a Fiero for a few years? Well, I do still like the little things and I can't say I don't want one again. My '87GT was my pride and joy in it's day, and I loved most of the people in the scene when going to shows and such, the Dells I miss the most. My current ride is the fastest and most aggressive car I've ever had, and my BMW guys are awesome too, but I still sort of miss the Fiero crowd in the past.
For now my M3 is my passion. That and my 325 daily driver

I haven't had a Fiero in a few years. I do enjoy stopping in and seeing whats new from time to time. Currently still in the UK. We are going to be stationed in Panama City, Florida in Oct. I am looking to pick up a '88 GT and finally build Project F88.
I sold both of my Skylines and now drive a 2005 Mitsu Evolution.

Although I haven't talked to Rob (MinnGreen) in quite a while, I know it wasn't him that Jennifer married. It was some guy named Matt. (You are talking about the gal in Pa, right?)
Monkeyman - thanks for clarifying that... I can hardly believe no one else made note of that earlier!

LOL - It seems that this may be the 2nd time that I've heard that Jen & I got married (or maybe we were just "engaged" back then). I hope no one tells Matt & Carissa (our spouses).
Just to clarify. Jen (Gilbert) married Matt (Goss) a few years back, and live in PA. I Rob (Bartlett) married Carissa (Peterson) back in Sept 2000, and live in MN.
I know that Jen still watches the forum (she's the one that told me, laughing, to check out this thread) and she was at Carlisle recently.
I still check the forum from time to time. I've been spending more time & effort on my motorcycle(s) lately, but still drive the Fiero regularly. I've actually spent a fair amount of time over the past month getting some of the small stuff taken care of on the Fiero - so I'll be more-ready for Dells run this weekend!

I don't believe that is an accurate statement. I understand that he purchased that Fiero already built that way with the front engine and all. Though he apparently did not have any handiwork in the building of the pro street Fiero, he did add the hood with the cut out and from he has said he did spend allot of time working on it and getting the engine to run correctly. Last I knew that Fiero had still not seen any track time which is sad as I know many of us would love to see what that thing is capable of.

Eh, not true. The pro street was built by a gent in Nebraska as a strip car. I bought it as a rolling chassis with no driveline from the 3rd or 4th owner who all "borrowed" pieces off of it as it passed hands. I bought it because the price was right and I couldn't (still can't really) weld good enough to trust myself to build a chassis, and I couldn't afford the $100k price tag I got for having someone else build it. I built the engine myself from a bare block. The machine shop hot tanked it and I literally did the rest. Sorry - I don't have pics of the engine as a bare block, but I do have a few of the custom oil pan my buddy and I designed (taken when the engine came out at some point, since it's been in and out a number of times). Btw, anyone that says to let a shop put in the cam bearings on a SBC should try it first. It's not a big deal at all. I also built the rear end with a Strange posi differential and Richmond Gears. I have hung the fuel system, rewired the entire car from end to end, tore into the transmission, and recreated the interior - which is no small feat considering that the floors are raised and the cowl pushed back to where the foot rest is - just to name a few of the things I have done. There are MANY other items, but those come to mind right now. And yes, I cut a hole in a hood too. That part is true, but as you can see I have done just a bit more than simply buy it and slap a hood on it. The car has been built up slowly as a cash project. There are no loans, liens or credit cards on the car. It is 100% funded with cash, and when I get spare money I use it on the pro street. If I don't have the money it just sits there in the garage, like it is now. This is how it's been since I have owned it. It's a slow process but I am in no hurry. The engine is torn apart (adding some goodies) and it is waiting for a new exhaust. I'll work on it before the 25th Anniversary Event but right now I have other things to take care of, like cutting another hood up because things have changed a bit. No, it hasn't gone to the track, but it hasn't run "right" to where I would even consider taking it there, and when it does run "right" even then I doubt I will take it to the track. I'm in no hurry to see how fast it is. I'm in a bigger hurry to drive it down the street R-E-A-L S-L-O-W so that everyone sees it and says "WOW!!" ...
Other than that, the rumors of Beth and I defecting from Mass to Alabama are true. We're about 15 minutes away from The Fiero Factory, and have been working with them to bring the website up to snuff which in turn increases their business. So far it's been a sucess. I have also retired my yellow Formula which succumbed to northern rust, and puchased a white Formula from Mississippi with no rust to take it's place. To my northern friends - we miss you all too, and invite you to come down south for some BBQ!

I heard he and skank had a fall out over a car then Malaky"s girlfriend left him for another guy and he went bonkers. Could be true. He was half way to bonkers already.
actually yes Daniel or Malakyt as you might know him did go "bonkers" but the falling out betwix he and i was about said girlfriend. he thought i was having an "under the rug" type relationship behind his back so stole "Onyx" my 87 GT 5spd and a 77 camaro LT ffrom me and got law involved and so on and so fourth and so much bulls**t that you wouldn't believe.
he has since moved to oaklahoma in fear of death had i crossed his path. and for some time i hate to say that fear was quite legitamate in that i would have killed him.
he has done some nice work to his car and he still claims he built everything on his car. truth be told i bought him the fast-back conversion and helped with the install and WE installed the firebird interior. that kid is a real peice of work.
BUT...
FieroSkank RETURNS with an 85 GT (automatic sadly) but it's in decent shape and i plan to post a good amount before my next dissappearing act. promise.
oh and Pokey ... twas Arizona my good friend.

Bob still shows up occassionally in Houston get-togethers, and even replies sometimes to local club email topics. If I'm not mistaken, he doesn't currently have a Fiero however. I last saw him at the Bud Classic here, and that was May 5. Not many of the Houston group spend much time on PFF.
I am still here. I have not owned a Fiero since back in 01 when GTDude drove off with my 86 back in 01. But i keep my eyes open for that low mile FREE fiero to show up I post in off-topic quite a bit, so if you stop in there you will likely see me. I still dream of getting another fiero and eventually when life gets back on track for us I will.

Anybody seen Falcon Fiero ? Last i saw he was looking for aother fiero, but nothing since.

I am on here nearly every day still. Eventhough I sold my last fiero in 04, I still love looking at what everyone is coming up with. I offered to buy back my 88GT from the guy I sold it to, but he said he was not done with it yet,,,I don't blame him. Since then, I have had 5 other hobbie vehicles, and currently have a 57 2dr sedan I am trying to sell to get a Solstice.
