We're considering making headers for the 3.8 if there will be enough of a demand. Also, whereas the 60 V6 has very restrictive headers and benefits greaty from after market headers; what's the story with the 3.8 setup? Would it be worth the effort/cost to replace the stock ones for say a lightly modified street machine? Inaddition, I saw some nice looking headers avaliable for those engines but not intended for the Fiero. However, we could pehaps just offer a dif Y pipe designed to work with those headers on a fiero. So, is it worth looking into?

I don't see a big market for 3800 headers made for the Fiero being the cost would be more than 95% would want to pay. The idea of making the Y-pipe to fit the cheap headers out there would be a good idea only if that company making the cheap headers stayed around. One way I see to do it is purchase say 10 sets of the cheap Ebay headers, built y-pipes for them and then sell them as compelte sets. That way you can mock up each set to insure they fit properly before shipping out....

Since the '96-'02 Camaro & Firebird used the 3800 Series II, and since the aftermarket does sell headers for those cars, find the right forums, and see what the benefit really is. If they're worth 10 rwhp on those cars, then figure 15-20 rwhp on an L67 Fiero. But even so, how many dollars will people pay for 15 rwhp? I'd guess around $300 maximum for most, but only $150 for myself.

ive been looking myself, and from what it looks like, the aftermarket ones for the grand prix's look like with little modification could work in my fiero...custom exhaust after the headers of course!
