Only 3 remaining and only $16.19 each!! These are the same ones that used to go for $80 each at the dealerships. Get them while they last....
http://www.rockauto.com/cat...oreinfo.php?pk=87094

The reason for this closeout is because AC delco has released a new model that supercedes these. There is no info on the quality of the new models yet. Grabbing some old ones while I still can. Just thought I'd toss this out for the interested parties.

EDIT: Do not order!!! After receiving a bosch sensor in an AC Delco box twice from Rockauto I had them check both the closeout and regular stock. They are ALL Bosch sensors. Looks like AC Delco is trying to pass these sensors off as their own. This problem is not just with rockauto also. Most of the stock found around town has the same problem.

Looks like AC delco is being very dis-honest to up their profit margin. Charging up to 80 dollars for a sensor that costs 15-20 tops.

I also called AC Delco specifically about this. I was told by them that they contracted Bosch make some O2 sensors to their specifications (which is ). These are not different then any other Bosch sensor. Same part numbers, same everything. They are simply cheating customers by offering inferiors parts in their boxes. I've always used Delco parts, but after this that will not be happening again. I will not purchase from a company that cheats their customers.

A couple of years ago, I bought an AC O2 sensor for my 4.9, from the dealer.
It lasted about a year before it started reading "full lean". The result was that I could almost see raw gas dripping out of my pipes.
My cat-con died a few months later.

I was able to "rejuvinate" it by heating it with a propane torch, but I don't know how long it will last.

Spent some time looking today but haven't been able to find info on the new ones. Just a new model number (GM #25165119). I'm also interested to see if they are actually "better". Could just a easily be AC Delco going with a cheaper manufacturer. No way to tell as of yet. The new ones price out at 40 each from rockauto. Still better then what the old ones used to cost (old ones now down to $30 non-closeout).

I have also tried cleaning O2 sensors. It just doesn't work very well. Burning the soot off works OK but it doesn't take long before they are toast again. Chemicals only seem to make it worse though.

$16 each for the ones shown to work well (pn# 213-322), just can't be beat.

Heh, I was. Apparently it fell apart at some point. Its just a hollow shell now. I'm running straight through mufflers so the pieces blew right out. Pretty sure it was gone before I passed emissions testing this last time.

Got my sensor today. Open up the AC Delco box and what do I find? A Bosch sensor!!! Dammit, this is twice now that has happened to me. The first time I spent $50 on it with a GM employee discount. Rockauto is sending me a new sensor. They said they will double check the box this time. They also called AC Delco and spoke with them about it. Delco said this is NOT something they would do. They also said its possible they were made at the same factory as the Bosch sensors and the mixup may have been there.

Hopefully I get a Delco sensor this time. I've now ordered 3 and have yet to receive one!! Anyone want a bosch sensor? I've got 3 I don't need...

After searching most of the day for an actual AC Delco sensor I have given up. Apparently there are none left. I called several parts stores, dealerships, and online outlets. They all have the same thing. Bosch sensors in Delco boxes.

Since I can't find a Delco I have decided to try out a Walker. Pn# 250-22001. Price ~$20. Looks to be the same as what I'm seeing for Denso also FYI. Clearly very different from the Delco and Bosch sensors. I'm keeping fingers crossed that it at least works better then the Bosch do.

Right away the idle seems smoother. The scanner also showes much better movement then the Bosch ever did. It doesn't jump from extremely rich to extremely lean anymore. I'll post the rest of my findings in a few weeks once I've had some time to fully test it.

Thought I'd add a reference picture also...

Walker on left, Bosch in center, AC Delco on right. The only issue I see right off the bat is the location of the threads. The bung is recessed slighly into the 4.9 manifold. This makes it slightly more difficult to tighten both the Bosch and Walker sensors. Not a big deal but something I thought I'd mention.
