So I just went on to the Cleveland Fiero's website scince my Fomula will be back up and running again and i see that they closed down? I was gonna be joining back up. What do cleveland ohio Fiero owners supposed to do now? Maybe we can try to get a new club started? Please tell me some input here. thanks.
Well that's a bummer...I sat in one of their meetings a few years ago when I bought my first Fiero but because of college, didn't have the time to partake

Matt that would be awesome dude. Im in Medina now though but still I can keep in touch with you guys about various things like meeting days and such. We need to come up with a name first and then decide what our mission is and figure out a meeting place.
You could do like we do at Suncoast Fieros, we meet every 2nd Saturday, but there are no dues, nothing to really manage, I do the webpage...but we're just a bunch of people who like to meet and go to shows and stuff.....there's a core group of about 12 people, others come and go as they like.....

The Cleveland club originally started as a informal group that was more friends than club members. This is the way to start a club and keep it going. When you take things too serious it can take the fun out of it. So if you want it to work keep it fun.
Many of the original members are still joined by e mail and will still get together for shows and maybe a cook out next summer. We just want to keep it low key and more of a social goup like it used to be.
While there are many many Fiero's here in this area we are all not that close together. Many of us had to drive an hour for a meeting. This kind of hurt meeting attendance. Also Family things also have taken the place of the Fiero for many of us. Sorry but Family first. THe thing that hurt the Cleveland club the most was the loss of Bruce Bender who passed away. He and his wife Melanie were the glue who held us all together. Many contributed to the club over the years but they did most of the work and made it all function while taking so little credit.
The club had a ebb and flow to it. It would grow and then decline then grow. Right now the interest is not that great in clubs in general. Many larger clubs are struggling right now. With the economy as it is dues are easy to stop paying if someone is cutting corners. Might wait till spring and with the warm weather and maybe a better economy?
