Looking for pictures of how others have mounted ther heat exchanger behind there front bumper? Looking to see if anything has to be cut? Or just how it was mounted? Thanks!

Nothing cut, and the most basic of mounts fabricated to hold it. I'm away from home, and this is the best pic I can find in what I have with me. This was mounted when I bought the car, so I'm not sure of the specifics. I can take better pics for you on the weekend, if you like.

That's a ZZP in the picture, so it should be the exact one you have.

Where do you fit the pipe(s) running from the manifold / turbo back at the engine bay all the way to the front?

ZZP actually changed the size of theirs recently so they are actually skinnier. There is no way in hell the one you got was really 6.5ft wide.

These are water/air heat exchangers. Only water lines run to and from the rear, where the water/air intercooler is located.

Looking forward to seeing more...

He's not talking about the length obviously.. he meant the thickness of the core itself.

It's mine. It came with the ZZP short stack intercooler setup. Here's a link, they're $599

The car will be progressing again after I get it up to bmwguru around Labor Day.

I modded my top radiator support to hold the top of the unit, then made a very simple bracket for the bottom.

I mounted a ZZP stage 2 intercooler, actually it appears to be a VW radiator..
Having 3 radiators in a row didnt look too efficient to me so I removed the AC heat exchanger (ac didnt work anyway) , and these ac brackets were perfect to reuse for the IC.. after a little bending they bolted up great

A/C's are becoming more popular nowadays..summers can get hot around here lately Several days over 30 C doesnt seem much but we have a seaclimate which causes damp/moist air and that is noticeable..I have been in desert conditions with 50+ C but the air was dry..that was different
In general here A/C's are convenient, but not always needed... also by removing the a/c compressor I could mount the alternator in that area

Fan was under the cooler. Fan is now on top of cooler under a rain shrod blowing down which cools intercooler and then the turbo. I did that way because I have another fanin that scope oulling air out of the compartment. System works fin,
