ive read alot of good things about the 2 ton Item # 67022 low profile car jack from harbor freight. but has anyone ever tried or can say which is better from the 3 ton Item # 94629 low profile.
just seems like itll be better to get the 3 ton since its only a couple bucks more.
im not talking about the 3 ton super heavy duty one i read all the bad reviews on those when lowering some back down the sensitivity is crazy.
so any thoughts.. also any sensitivity issues between them also

Usually the tools you get from Harbor Freight are only good for 1 or 2 uses. I don't think I would stick my head under a car that's held up by a Harbor Freight jack. Better off to get a quality jack and a good set of jack stands. Better safe then sorry. Just my two cents.

My GT sits low enough that I can't get the "low profile" jack under the front of it anyway.

I have the two ton low profile jack -- as posted above I use it to get the car up high enough to use my "good" jack and then either place the car on tall "ramps" for work or jack stands. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I don't think i've seen a UL label on anything from China Harbor. As for 2 vrs 3 -- More is alway "more better"!

thanx im only using the jack because it goes up to 20 inches then i can place jack stands.. my current jack only does 12 inches so im going back and forth using 4x4's.. very time consuming and annoying.
I would never trust a china freight jack. I use a BIG RED jack from pepboys. i have been using it for years and it has never let me down. You can get one for around $35 and it works great. i might end up buying a china freight engine hoist but i'v heard bad things about them to. I also have big red jack stand that work very well...
This reminds me of a memory from the tyler project. Jack stand saftey is no laughing matter. I almost learned this while my whole body was under the tlyer project with on jackstands and people working on it above..... i was never so scared in my life.

I have been using the 3ton for several years with no issues. It is a tad sensitive when lowering, but that is easily adjustable. I got the 3 over the 2 as it seems to be more stable with the wheels on the "outside." .02
