i need to change the fluid in my transmission in my fiero but my Haynes manual doesn't say the capacity for an 88 5 speed so can someone tell me what it is?

Assuming it's the Getrag from your user name, capacity is 1.9 liters (2 quarts), use GM's Synchromesh fluid, well worth the cost.

The Isuzu capacity is 2.5 liters. Both specs taken from the 88 shop manual.

thank you and ill try that fluid ive already heard nothing but good things about it.

I had a guy that builds gm racing transmission tell me to never put syncromesh in a getrag. He told me to ONLY use mobil 1 full synthetic 5w30. Just my .02
