Welll back to the sandbox I go. All my Fiero plans have went on hold. Unfortunately my orders are unlimited in duration so I have no idea how long I will be gone. Of course you know that things go wrong at the worst possible moment...battery in the collector car is kaput and leaked a little taking some piant off the perfect battery tray. Removed the battery and neutralized the acid immediately. Need to repaint the battery tray but otherwise no damage at all on a perfect 88GT....shucks. The 4.9 had some oil on the ground under it...couple drops...but def off my car. CRAP!!!! Not what I need right now. I'll have to find that when I return in ???? AC let go on the Indy....D A M N I T!!!! I just can't win! Everything going wrong at once!!!!! ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

Johny,
The cars will be here and fine until you get back. If you can store them indoors is always better.
Stay safe and watch yer six.

Thanks for serving your country.

Ron

I have a five car garage so storage isn't a problem. Just moaning as it always seems to go pear shaped right when I am leaving! Also, my beautiful bride will drive them monthly so everything still moves around a bit.

Cap off your exhaust tips, and any other open pipes in the car before you leave, dont want any critters making a new home in your rides while your away.. Plz be carefull over there, and we'll all be here to welcome you home, and help you solve any fiero problems when you get back..

As all have said. Be careful and thank you so much. I served several years ago (non-wartime) I can't imagine what you must be going through. Thankfully you have a new wife and a 5 car garage to keep your mind occupied and sometihng to look forward to upon your return. I have a friend whos son is over there. I know they still have internet access so anytime you you need a pick me up. Feel free to call upon us. We'll all be looking forward to your return.

Sad to say this is the best looking part of the car so far!

As a police officer friend of mine once told me, "Always attempt to maintain a low profile."

Stay safe and come back soon.

Thanks for all you do.

Take care of yourself !

If you're assigned to a mobile unit, refuse to ride in Humvee's, insist on traveling in a MaxxPro Plus, they are a lot safer !!!

Wow, 5 times!!??
Really rolling the dice for you, aren't they?
The power of the powers that be ! !
22 years of service here, no on the disabled list, still wish I was serving.
Thanks for doing all that you are for the rest of us!
Good luck, good hunting and last but not least, BE SAFE!!
Don't volunteer for anything!! Except maybe eating the leftovers from the mess hall.

What is your function? I'm sure you have said, but I missed it.

From one service member to another, keep you head down and watch your six. I'll be headed that way myself here pretty soon, ramping up now. You take care over there, and if you make it to Missouri sometime, maybe we can hook up and share a beer or two. Be safe

I spent half of the last five years in Iraq and Afghanistan so I understand your feelings. Be as careful as possible and hope the ROE's get better for the military.

Just another bump saying thanks for your service. I'd be over there too if uncle Sam didn't write me off because I have a hip defect. Look at it this way...your Fieros will be worth more when you're back. ;D

Like everyone else has said Thank You for Your Service.

I will talk with my son, he is going to school in Pensacola (USN) at the end of August. He will be there for 6 months or more, if he gets bored he may be able to fix some of your problems while you are Deployed.
