Thanks... has about 47k miles. The underside is really really clean. Maybe cleaner than the corvette next to it.

Well..... The first owner had this as a show car, then sold it to the owner before me, who drove it 40,000 miles then transmission locked up, and gave it to me. So to answer your question it is paint. Still cannot figure out what that switch does

In that case I wish you were closer to me too! lol I'd love to have a hood to play around with for a couple of mods I have in mind. Always too far away for a good deal! lol

Sad to say this is the best looking part of the car so far!

For..........freeeeeeeeeee? (Bedtime Story voice)

Man, what a nice car for free. Congratulations. As for the tranny, check and see if there is any oil left in it. That's a very easy way to get them to lock up. Don't ask me how I know.

That car has a lot of nice parts on it for a freebie! Looks saveable! "Somebody put in the wrench time" I think after the trans I'd replace all the fake braided lines, and reroute that fuel line, that it looks like he put NEXT to the exhaust manifold, and the fuel filter is just sitting there in space? Car also appears to have the original coolant temp sensor, original vacuum lines, rear rotors, replace the missing firewall heat shield, MAP sensor is probably still with the air cleaner...

On the dash, where did he get that 'Radial Tuned Suspension' badge?

Great for free, good car to learn on.

Thanks all. The RTS badge was just there. I do not plan on doing any mods. It will be a dd when I can drive.

Is it possible the shift/select cables are bad or frozen which won't allow you to shift it, where the tranny itself is ok?? Just throwing it out there.

Well, I know its not the cables, I disconnected them and cannot get it to shift. I believe it is internal, maybe the shift fork.

Ok, I started it and fully left out the clutch, and nothing happened. It appears that the shifter is in the first gear position. Any ideas?
