I just recently returned from a trip to New Zealand where I was treated to a jet boat ride up a river. Guess what was under the engine hatch?



They sounded great the ride was a blast, complete with spin outs and hugging the rock walls at 50 mph.

Hmm instead of posting where it should or shouldn't be/bla bla ill say that is a really cool setup! Plus might give a good idea on a twin setup in a fiero.

To be honest, I've never been to the OT section, I thought it was for the crazy flamers.

If it isn't Fiero related it should be in OT section, what you posted may have been what you thought cool, no way could it even be entertained as a Fiero possibility. This section is: General Fiero Chat, if someone doesn't say something, pretty soon you have a bunch of non-related Fiero posts messing this section up.

Somewhere, I saw a picture of an LSX engine with two M90 superchargers next to each of the valve covers.

Did you get any other pictures? Or were you too fascinated by the engines

Where was this boat? Setup looks like maybe Kawerau Jet? If so, they were running dual SBCs but the 3800SCs were significantly cheaper to replace in the event of a failure.

Motecs? He spent more on engine management than I planned on putting down on my house!

I dont think there are any ready made marine exhausts for them either. Pretty sweet project.

agreed...well except I wouldnt sell my Fiero unless I was trapped in OT and selling it was a last resort to getting away from the insanity ..

Cool ! I saw the Shotover Jet in action when I was in NZ several years ago...pretty impressive stunts !

Now if they want more power out of these dual sc 3.8's they could add a set of ZZP like intercoolers and make them water/riverwater cooled

I know right. I know that there are new members on here and it is all new to them.
I just think its neat to see something like that. And it is Fiero related. I have one of those in my Fiero.
Anyway, its Cliffs decision not anyone elses.
