It was a nice day for the show.

Fierofool's, mine, and Don's cars.

The Ga Fiero club took 4 awards.

My wife's sister used to have one of these (same color).

This one had a unique arrow head on the nose -- it looked like real flint.

Our Fieros had to compete against this Solstice, and it won first place. Not fair -- this is a new car, and didn't need any work!

In 1984, the Fiero wasn't the only Pontiac to be a pace car.

More pictures....

I think this Oakland comes every year.

This engine is a massive block of iron -- might weigh as much as my whole car!

Bumper pads -- not just for Fieros.

Watching over the show...

My car (ta-da!)

This river runs behind where the show was. You could step into the trees and cool off.

View of the show from the river.

I do agree about that Solstice. A new car with rims should not win first pace. It needs to be really custom or some kind of frame up job.

WOW nice show and nice Fiero's! Congrats on the Prizes!

BTW that is one hell of a sexy and rare solstice! GXP Coupe + Brazen Orange! I think only a handful were made!

Edit: I just checked and there were 58 Brazen coupes made, I don't know how many were GXP's though.

The owner lives here near me. I don't know if it's the popularity or the rarity, but he said he had to go to somewhere in Florida to get it. He bought it the minute it showed up on inventory, I believe he said.

As for the competition against a brand new car--I don't mind coming in 3rd with a stock 1986 Fiero against it. Previously at a show near Atlanta, Tinton came in 1st against brand new G6's and 'Vettes.
