Well, I was at Wally World today, and I saw a black SE sitting in the parking lot. Nothing fancy, just a mildly faded aero SE, with some unusual square tubing sticking out of the back bumper on both sides of the car. I'm not sure what they were for, but that is besides the point. Well, I came out of Wally World and the Fiero was gone. So I'm leaving, and lo and behold what do I see at Dunham's Sports? That black SE, the owner, and a store employee loading something interesting into,.....er....onto the Fiero. LOL

All I can say is FAIL. There is no way that thing was going to sit on there with those little red strings while the guy drove home.

You should have introduced yourself, then put his Fiero, and the boat in the back of your truck!

I thought they just caught fire. I didn't know you had to be prepared for them to sink as well !

Maybe he's doing one of these conversions:

Heh, I travelled three hours to my summer job away from home and packed boxes on top of the rear decklid, behind the rear windshield, and in front of the wing.

I protected the decklid with mats.

The next weekend I brought my bicycle with me, again strapped to the rear decklid

Wow!
The most that I have ever hauled was a total of 4 people (including me), two in the pass seat and one sitting on the console with her head out the sunroof... Its not really cargo, everything fit in the car and didnt have to be strapped down. Guess thats why I also own a truck.

(I know *someone* has hauled more people)

judging from the rear bumper and lack of ground effects, that isnt a SE at all, thats a 87-88 coupe, i could tell which year it was if there was a straight shot of the rear bumper, but just wanted to point out that it isnt a SE, and infact isnt an aero car.

definatly an interesting way to haul their boat though.
