I did a search and only came up with c-500 and c-203 pin-outs for the 88 v6 cars. I need them for the 88' 4 cyl. Also I named the thread appropriately so it would be easy to find for people in future searches. If you have the pin-outs it would be greatly appreciated!!!
More specifically, in every other year and 4 cyl, and all v6 models there appears to be a white wire that runs through the c500 belonging to the tach. My 88 4cyl harness doesn't have it nor does the c203 connector. Where the heck does the tach get it's signal from in the 88 coupes?!?

According to my FSM, the 88 4cyl tach signal goes through C500 cavity C3 just like the V6 except the wire is Blk/Wht instead of Wht. The diagram is on pg 8A-80-0 i

Well, from what I've found, in the 88 4cyl cars the tach wire is white and black and does NOT go through the c500 as the fsm states. Goes through the bulkhead weather pack straight in to the c203 connector. But here's my dilema, there's two black wires with white stripes right next to eachother on the c203... I don't know which one it is.

The biggest mistake you can make is to follow wire colors. Use an ohm meter and meter every connection. When I was doing my harness for my 4.9 I found that ALL positions in the harness connectors were correct regardless of the wire color. The tach lead on my 88 4 cyl 5 spd coupe is in the C500. Black and white C3. This chart is how my car is wired , and all was working correctly last time I fired it off in December 9th last year.
Here is a link to my 88 C203 and C500 request for help July 23rd last year
The biggest mistake you can make is to follow wire colors.
x2... Validate the correct wiring at the 203 and 500 and then go from there.
A perfect example of the wire color issue is 203 connector locations M & N. Both are black (sometimes black/white) and one is a ground and the other is the +12v feed for the AC when it is turned on.
The tach on the 88 4cyl fieros does go through the 500... done several swaps on that specific year/chassis.

Apparently I'm retarded. It did go through the c500. I guess after a day of 4 million wires running through your head you begin to lose your sanity. Lol However, I did find 4 wires on the 203 that were a different color than what was labeled in the fsm, but their function was correct. I wonder how they do that?

I know exactly what you mean. Sometime I saw wires in my sleep.
