Hey everyone I'm Colton. I already tried the introduction thing is the o/t section but was turned this way. Well a lil info on me is I'm ex army, and a car nut just like all of you but I tend to stay more on the import side. I've always loved the fiero's but when I was under age my parents wouldnt let me buy one. My plans are to build a 86 to 88 gt 5spd 3400 dohc twin turbo chop top ect. The reason I chose this route is how familar I am with multi valve dohc import engines and turbos. Right now I'm in the process of helping a friend do a fwd tt conversion on his 92 stealth rt running 2 evo 3 tdo5 turbos 1000cc injectors and all the goodies 3sx can offer for internal parts! over all a twin tdo5 set up is good for 700+hp on the 6g72tt engine. I also am helping one of my j body friends put a 3.1 turbo out of a 91 gp into his cavy and he also is going to be running a tdo5 form turbo one of my old ones which is a super 16g ( ported and milled to fit 20g compressor wheel). That and alot of my friends are j body guys all running a 3400 or the 3500 my friend with the 3.1 also uses a 3400 gp as his race car for points its stock besides intake and runs 15.2's. His father has a page dedicated to the 3400 dohc engines and has been working on them as a mechanic for 10 years now. As for my past cars they are in my signature, sadly my stealth never made it to the fwd tt conversion seeing as it blew 3 trannys.

------------------
93 dodge stealth es-rip
95 eagle talon tsi- 5spd conversion, fidanza flywheel and 6 puck clutch, short throw shifter, ported 2g manifold, evo 3 o2 housing, 3" tanabe blue tbe, 18" rpm mesh wheels, prothane bushings all around, solid motor mounts, super 16g turbo, turbo xs dual stage boost controler( 15 then 30psi), rc 550cc injectors, dsm link, obx fmic with short route 3" hard piping, 3" intake ect...
2- 95 vw mk3 golfs gold 4door with 16" tenzo wheels tokico struts megan racing lowering springs 2" drop, greddy exhaust, cam, intake. black 2 door parts car with race tranny.
Fiero coming soon?

Welcome. Yeah, O/T gets kinda crazy sometimes. I'll get sick of it for a while and stay out for about 3 months at a time, and then I can't help myself and go back for more. That's the way it is when you own a Fiero, you get used to it.

Welcome milenko!

Sounds like you have a game plan!
Why go with the 3.4 tdc motor? Why not an import motor with similar qualities + a turbo?

You're working on a Fiero.... ANYTHING is possible!

I had thought of a inport motor but I thought it would disgrace the fiero. I know a guy on the dsm forums who is running a 4g63t in a fiero (same as in the dsm's for those who dont know) and I love the engine but just dont think it would go well. My dream has always been a 96 tt stealth with a 4.5l 6g74 and 2 fp reds but I think putting a mitsu motor in a fiero would be a b!tch that and once again go against my love for mitsu ive got a dsm tattoo as well as a 46g3 cam gear. Although I think a 4.5 doch 24v v6 with a 8:1 comp running 2 fp reds at 35psi each would be unstopable in any car expecially a little fiero
