Local car group had a track day at the Sedalia, MO airport yesterday, so my little brother and I took the wife's stock 85 2M4 out. We had a blast. They had a 1 mile road course set up. Even against the imports and late models, the little fiero was getting alot of praise for the way she handled the twists and turns. Hopefully I can get pictures posted soon, just waiting on them to be emailed.

Jetta, Colbalt, and the Civic I can see, but the old Nissan pickup? (or whatever it is) Why would you bring that to a track? And also, that looks like a lot of fun, I need to find a track around here that's not to expensive. (southern Wisconsin if anyone knows, PM me please)

actually, it was a dodge, and he was just having fun like I was. We knew we didn't stand a chance against the others, but we gave each other a couple of good runs.

Yes it does. I always knew that my Fieros handled the courners well, and this just reaffirmed it. What I really liked was the fact that the crowd there respected the little car for the way it handled the track, and can't wait to see what it will do once it gets the 3800 in it. It was by no means the fastest there, but it was one of the best handling, especially coincidering its all stock suspention, with worn parts replaced with OEM grade. I know it will handle better once I get a rear sway bar on it, and as far as the pick-up drags, it should hold its own with the 3800.........if the wife lets me drive it, lol.
