While I am glad for all of the new fiberglass products being made, I am not a fan of these.

look like shark styled intakes to me...and the lines flow horridly ( imo ) with the body...but my style is a bit older. But im sure with the right touch it'll look great.

They were originally inspired by the Porsche Cayman who side scoops were supposed to be reminiscent of a sharks gills.

Shark gills face the other direction... I think this design may be just too busy/round for the Fiero's body lines, especially on that ZR-1 kit...

Hockaday, what is the point of the huge dimly lit Fiero picture with a fire chicken behind it?

I realize the direction they are going but they wouldn't collect air now would they?

I am merely stating what was In Porsche Design Magazine.

Sorry Will, there should have been a or a after that comment about the shark gills...

I wonder what that style would look like on a Fino or Finale kit...

These were inspired by The Porsche Cayman

This is the photoshop mockup we used when designing them

Due to depth constraints on the inward portion of the scoop, we had to raise the whole scoop outward to accomodate for depth. While this design is not for everyone, It is different and does have it's own appeal. Dan liked them so much that he decided to put them on his personal car instead of the GT Style #1. As soon as they are installed, we will get pics up on the website.

Who's Dan? ghost187x?

I have no doubt things will look different when they are not Photoshopped.

That's one scoop design that needs to be destroyed.

Really? And why is that? Cause "you" don't like them? So let me get this straight. I should destroy the molds and wash my hands of the design just cause you may not like them. Interesting. I'll get right on that.

I definitely agree with that... I bought their GT Style #1 side scoops and they are nice solid quality pieces. Just need to get them on the car... In the end it all really comes down to personal tastes, which is why JimmyS has more than one style to offer in the first place.
