I have seen on other sites that there is or was a West Michigan Fiero Club, is it still around? Is there anyone that is on the forum that is apart of it? I am interested in hooking up with someone that knows fieros and could give me and my son a few pointers diagnosing some squeaks and rattles. Also interested in attending a meeting or cruise this summer.

Well, we're just not sure on that right now. The club is on hold for a few weeks while we decide the future of the club. Vince

Capitol City Fiero Club is centrally located and we try to do shows near where are members are located.
Last year we were in Coldwater, Grand Rapids, Brooklynn, Jackson, Lansing, Battle Creek, Chesaning, Homer, Marshall, Three Rivers, the Upper Peninsula, and several out of state shows, like the Dells Run, Auburn Cord Duesenburg Show, NIFE, Heartland Fieros, and London, Ontario.
We also have a track day at MIS in the late summer. Lots of fun on the big tri-oval!
This year we had five cars at the Daytona show, and plan on traveling to the Dells, and are having a show-within-a-show at the large St. Ignace Car Show the end of June.
We will also be doing local events and cruise-ins.
If your Fiero isn't finished yet, the paint sucks, or the seats are shabby, it's no problem, as the point is having fun and showing the rest of the car world what a unique platform for performance GM created with the Fiero.
Anyone is welcome to come and join in the fun of promoting our Fiero obsession with the rest of the Car Crazies out there!
after plotting them cities on the ole map i see that the majority of the shows or whathaveyous are pretty much do-able for me. G.R, Three Rivers, Coldwater, Homer, Marshall, B.C. i am going to check them C.C.F. out. thanks for the Info. Joe ohhhh.....that reminds me. later Dan

batousai666 I would be up for a cruise sometime this summer in the Holland area or even Gun Lake (after the Casino is built of course!), let me know what would work for you and we can try to set something up.
Anyways I was just wondering about the West Michigan Club since I have seen it on a few other sites. I did notice that the contact person must have changed, since I remember at least 2 different names.
olejoedad - the CCFC probably wouldn't work out for me as it is at least an hour + drive to Lansing for any type of meeting. As for your shows, that maybe a possibility. I did see that you are going to St Ignace, unfortuneatly we are already busy that weekend.
Snapperhead I will send you a PM

Snapperhead is correct. the West Michigan club needs a boost. If it wasnt on Wednesdays I could make it now that I am finished with college.

Solotwo,
I still would like to see the West Michigan Club make it. Grand Rapids is not just a little town, I see Fieros all the time driving around here. Grand Rapids needs it's own club, I don't know if it needs a name change to give it's own identity and some new blood or just more get togethers.... I just hate to see it die....
Crazy,
Sounds great for a cruise sometime, The wife and I will be at the burn show on May 15th if I get the V8 GT back together in time. Maybe we can all hook up with capital somewhere and all cruise in like a pack of wild beasts.
Vince

Snapper. I agree and I think Barry is getting burned out. He has done it all by himself. I wonder if the meeting place should be moved? To a more visual place? What I mean by visual is a place were there would be more exposure so that people seeing the all Fieros parked would spread the word. Or maybe have the meeting place revolve to different areas? Probably the most important is getting the word out. I have to think about this for a while. It has been a long time since I was totally involved in a club. Being one of the founders of the West Michigan Camaro Club and later the West Michigan Trans Am Club. I know it takes time, dedication, and involvement from ALL the members. Unfortunately the sales adage 80% of sales is done by 20% of the force. This is also true for car clubs.
Well I have to get off the internet and get my brakes done!
Fiero's and Trans Am's!? meet my boys. we are "all in"!
"more visual location"..... West Coast, MI. Lake Michigan is lovely this time of year. *hint* as far as exposuer. none better that Fun, Sun and Fieros at the Beach. we got South Haven, Holland, Van Burean S.P.- all the Festivals and car shows, up and down the coast. Tulip Time! lets get it on! hahahaha......i dont know just freeforming........ and lost it. i have crappy handwritting, but have a big mouth so i can muster the "sales pitch"... so to speak. in the words of every great procrastinator-"let me know"....... later Daniel-Mera X

Heck, once I get mine going, it would be great to bring it to meets on the west side of the state. Otherwise it gets more difficult to make time for a bunch of drive time to go to the D.

I'm definitely down for a club in Grand Rapids. Just got my 84 2m4 up to daily driver condition. I live by Hastings but am in Grand Rapids all the time.
I'd love a club here in GR. It would be nice to see some of the other Fieros (and Mera) in the area.
