sooo, im wondering if anyone has put 19s on a fiero. SOME of the rims im looking at only come in 19inches at the minimum (most are pretty "donk" but many of the styles look pretty tasteful if colored correctly). im wondering how this would look on a fiero. i know 19 is kinda big, i dont need a lecture about big rims and little tires. simply wondering if anyone has pics of a fiero with 19s, or 18s even as a point of reference
fierofury did.... than he got banned. Chuckel Chuckel Chuckel....
In all seriousness though thats a big rim for a little car. i think the only look right with extensive work done to the body such as madcurl and troyboy.

19's look good on a Fiero without body mods.. I'm running 19's on the rear and 18's on front.

id love to have mine staggered, exactly like yours (different rims tho lol) but the first set of rims ive looked at tonight come in 19-26ish. just the 19s do look pretty good. i like big rims a lot, but not BIG big like 22s on a fiero lol. 19s look pretty nice, its hard to believe the rears are actually 19s ha

lol he counts. actually the pic is PERFECT, as its a notchie with the wraparound spoiler, lowered and no major body mods, which is how i plan for mine to end up xP

Yea, OK, but like I said earlier, with rims that big you better upgrade the brakes or else the stock brakes will look like a joke.

like you said earlier..? and what do you mean they will look like a joke? they literally wont LOOK good?
what he mean's is...the stock brakes will be lost behind the larger wheels and will look very little. I went to 11.25 brakes they do fill in the center of the wheel much better and look a lot better then tiny stock rotors.

ohh ok. im not worried about the brakes. im not big on even having the brakes noticeable. i dont have the money for new rims right now anyways, i just like to have everything planned out for things like this. however, the brakes WILL be upgraded eventually, and color matched to the rest of the car. my plans are to make it a show-worthy daily driver with a v8 or a 3800, so new brakes will be needed anyways.

Yea sorry, i said the same thing earlier in fierofury's thread. And yes, you would look at them and say.."those are your brakes?" Also, it would take a lot more force to stop the heavier and bigger rims, the stock brakes would fare even worse then with stock wheels.

bigger rims would cause more stress on the brakes? im not exactly mechanically inclined yet, only had my car drivable since xmas and its my first car

Yeah I've put 19s on a Fiero. Mine's totally totally stock, completely untouched standard suspension, soggy bushes and all... for now
They're 235/35R19s. Not actually too pricey on tyres, and although steering effort has been increased, it's not enough to make the car difficult to drive. Grips like a beast now, still waiting for new rear struts before I lower it.

Honestly, when I see a Fiero like this, it makes me wonder why people want ferrari noses, choptops, widebodies, etc. Not that those don't look nice, but this is ideal in my book!

I bought these 19's back in 2002 when everyone said they wouldn't fit... Back then it was real tough finding tires. These are a 7.5" with 225/35/19's. My next set will be a staggered, with 235/35/19 on a 19x8's and 275/30/20 on a 20x9's
