Dave: Well, yeah, it's a really popular show, and the people really turn out to see all of the cars!
Jim: Won't it be a pain to bring a car up there to show?
Dave: Since the Fiero is one of the featured cars, we have our own display area and it's within walking distance of the host hotel. They even have all-night security, so we can leave our cars there for the whole show!
Jim: That sounds convenient, is there anything else going for us?
Dave: The casino is hosting the owners of the featured cars to a dinner, and the credentials for that are in the Goody Bags that the host hotel has for us at the time of registration.
Jim: Well, sounds like I better get busy and make my arrangements to be at the show! Who do I contact?
Dave: All of the information is at www.capitolcityfieros.com just click on the link in the upper left hand corner of the web page! I couldn't be easier!

THE CONTINUING STORY OF JIM AND DAVE....................
Jim: Hey Dave, did you get your registration sent in yet?
Dave: No, my car isn't really a show car, it's just a nice daily driver.
Jim: Well. it's more than nice, for a 22 year old car it looks sweet. You ought to bring it up to the show. Since the Fiero is a featured car, the more Fieros we have show up, the better it will be for the spectators, as they can look at all of the different styles.
Dave: That's a good point, JIm. Even a nice survivior car that's this old is rare anymore. Have you talked to Tom about bringing his car?
Jim: Yes, I did. Even though it needs paint, he has the engine swap done and the custom bodywork all installed, so he is going to show it so that everyone can see how easily a Fiero can be modernized. The point here is that even if your car is not perfect, it is unusual because it is the only mass produced mid engine car ever made in the US by a major automaker, With June 1st being Pontiac Tribute Day, and the Fiero being a featured car at the show, the Pontiac brand will be getting lots of attention this year.
Come on and join in on the fun!

Jim: Ok Dave, I just got a phone call from Tom, he just put his 1986 Fiero SE aka #53 in the show, and he said he will see us on Thursday.
Dave: That's GREAT, If I'm thinking right isn't # 53 his Silver SE he races ?
Jim: That's right, now there is a racing Fiero in the show as well!!!
Dave: man this is going to be a Great show for Fieros this year.
Jim: hay Joe is knocking on my front door, he wants me do down load the show application for him and his buddy Steven they want to get in on the action. Joe has a Formula and Steven has a Coupe.
My cousin and unckle usually go up to the St Ignace show... and I should finally be getting the '86GT back outta the shop with the 3800 swap finished this weekend. I'm tempted to make the trip up there this year.

Dave: I'm sending out a mass email so got to go.

Any news on how many Fieros are signed up? Who's going? There hasn't been much chatter on here about this show, so I thought I would give it another Bump.
The wife and I are coming up Friday AM (because of work ). Hate to miss out on Thurs night but oh well.
Look for a lowered white GT with red rally stripes - that's us.
See ya there!
