Coming back up...lost an ignition module at the end here. 10 minutes and we were back on the road.


Edit to add: Guess it would have been nice to mention that Fierfly was in the passenger seat, and Savet was driving the Lotus.

Shall we tell them how long module #2 lasted?

Lets just leave it at "that wasn't the only ingnition module that failed me that day"...but yes, we were back on the road in about 10 minutes from there.

Let the record show that heat sink grease is now a part of the tool kit.

I didn't see a speed limit sign in your video. From the rate that the scenery was changing I assume that you didn't either. I wish I could have been the third car in line wih you.

Not one speed limit sign on the road.

Guess we have to assume it's an 80mph zone :-D

Unless otherwise posted, NC statewide speed limit is 55 I believe.

Its always fun going down tree covered roads like that. Someone got a beautiful shot of my red fiero going through one of thoes roads today. I'm waiting for someone to post it.

I found out a long time ago those back country roads covered with leaves are like driving on ice.... Not many leaves left here....we had 70 mph windstorm.
