Looking good whodeanie, I like the rear end on it , btw what is your level of body working experience and how hard is the kit to install, I've done bodywork before but never a wide body kit.

I worked in a body shop years ago and I have worked on cars forever. the widebody kit is not that hard to do it does take a little bit of skill to get it ligned up and glassed in. and a lot of time.

R Runner probably kept wondering where all that drool was coming from on his car at the 25th anniversary show,...it was from me !
One of the baddest fieros i have ever seen !
i dont know if id call that a fiero cause the only thing that relates to the fiero is the fiberglass shell. he could put a f40 body on it and called it a f40. but i give him mad props for using a fiero body, good work man love that race car. i'd like to see what he would do with a street fiero and that 100k+ a year paychek ???

I agree that the "Fiero" part is debateable. Is it a street Fiero. No. It never had a VIN number. However it IS an IMSA Fiero designed by Pontiac and built to their blueprints. I modified the design to provide for a longitudinal drivetrain. Pontiac, Spice, and Huffaker all played with the longitudinal design in the later model IMSA Fieros. It is Pontiac powered. None of the factory 2.8 cars can say that. I am a Fiero fan and I built the car with that in mind. Yes another body could be put on it.... but why?! I couldn't help but laugh at the "100k paycheck" comment. I make less than half that. I would like to see what I could do with that kind of coin too!
I do want to thank all of you guys for the great comments. I am proud of her and it is really nice to get complements. It means a lot.
Back to the topic. I think the best wide body I have seen is the red one I saw at the 25th. "Chuck's car". WOW that was a great looking car. Also I really like the little wing on Madcurl's car. I like these two body features better than my car. I made mine a wide body to get 14" stickies under the rear end so I quit spinning the tires at 70 mph. I think it looks better, but there was a functional reason for the major change.
Any more wide body pictures out there?

mine is in progress The widebody is from Archie and the rear I my doing and the front F355 sectioned 4"with custom front fenders among other things.
I can't understand that. You had a chance to widen the whole car 4", allowing some (unnecessary, possibly detrimental, but mean-looking) 275-width front tires, but you sectioned it instead? Like Pontiac said, "Wider IS Better".

That is dedication there Madcurl! With the white pants, and sandles, you look good while being productive. You widebodies are some of the best, and your inovations just keep coming. You truely have some of the best looking Fieros on the planet.

It may just be the picture, but I think you accidentally installed the lights backwards. Aren't the low beam projectors supposed to be on the outside of the car and the high beams on the inside?

This is to me the nicest GT wide body I have ever seen. Too bad it is a little street radical. For notchback Chuck's red monster gotta be the one. I personally think wide bodies look so much better on notchbacks because they are more flat race car style.
