Temp tags get me on the road with her tomorrow. Feels good to be back. Now to find a bunch of parts, like a trunk lock, new tires, decklid support system, steering wheel horn assembly - and figure out how to get the fuel gauge, speedo and oil gauge working again. Oh yeah - then there's paint! I need paint bad...

It's been so long, I forgot half of what you guys taught me!!

I'll put up with an auto only because this will be used in a lot of stop-and-go DC traffic. The Mach 1 is a 5-speed, so I get the need fulfilled there.

Speaking of the Mach - it is in the shop getting a new front end. $8000 worth! Friggin' DC drivers...

Ha! I only traded the V8 Fino away last September. Traded it for a 24' boat. Now someone has offered me a nice '77 Bette for the boat. I'm tempted...

And, YES! The Mach does seem to be cursed with wrecks that aren't my fault. This time, I should have hit the guy who pulled into my lane. Then HE would have paid for the damage. Damn DC drivers (and pedestrians)!

Welcome back to Fiero ownership, Sax, and I love that Blue. That's around the same color I will be going with on mine. That's an interesting sunroof there, must be aftermarket?

I couldn't stay away very long, but the new job lets me get new toys, like the V8 boat, so this new Fiero will have to share my attention.

Livin' for the weekend now that I have a desk job. No more pay to play sax full time. I had it so good then, but now I get the retirement check!
