I wish there was a reliable way of informing possible purchasers of a car on CList (in a non-invasive way) that the car they might purchase is not all it may be cracked up to be. I LOVE my Fieros, and would trade them for nothing... but when I see someone flat out lie about the car, it is very disheartening. http://medford.craigslist.org/cto/1703657379.html (Sorry if you have to cut and paste the link). 96hp stock is not what I consider tire shredding (i own an 88SE +2hp) even considering the custom exhaust. 2k lbs, no way! And the sub... better have a height challenged partner as a co-pilot.

I am sorry if I seem a bit brash here, but it really peeves me off when a person tries to sell their car (any car) by over emphasizing it's capabilities and/or over embelishes it's stats.

Having attended MSHS I can understand the poor spelling. You're right, this is an outright load of crap.

"it'll grab 90% of the time"

Its a Duke, it should grab every time... Unless you're talking 5000rpm clutch drops or the guy has the back end in the air somehow. Its amazing how stupid some people can be.

Tire shredding? Certainly!

A quote I read from Car Craft magazine:

"Any car, when properly abused, can burn rubber."
