Hello,

Just thought I'd share the news about some new old stock transmissions I found. Bought one of these four speeds and the guys were great.

Also look back in their store from time to time as some new old stock isuzu 5 speeds come up every once and a while.

This 4 speed all it needs is the shifter arm ends from a fiero bolted on, I don't think the speedo drive ring needs to be replaced but will let you know once I get into my old one a little deeper.

Just thought I'd share because this is an awesome deal for a brand spankin new, hard to find tranny!

Are you sure those are 3.65s and not 3.32s? Also, which 4th gear is in there?

They are the M17 3.65 gearing with 0.81 fourth gear. I bought one last year before they jacked up the price.

Ryanfrommichigan... Did you have to change the speedo drive gear inside the tranny or was it compatible with the fiero speed sensor?

Vss was drop in and speedo reading was correct. Just swap your shift cable brackets and selector shaft brackets from your old 4 speed.

I do recommend replacing the axle seals before installing the trans. The ones that came with the unit looked ok but I wouldn't trust 25 year old seals.
