Found this in http://www.chacha.com/quest...in-the-trunk-or-hood

A person is asking this question:

Q: Does a Pontiac Fiero have the engine in the trunk or hood

Some guy answers with this response:

A: The engine for the Pontiac Fiero is located in the front hood of the car. ChaCha!

Heres another Good quote from that same site!

Q: What was the Pontiac Fiero's body made out of
A:The Fiero was originally made out of fiberglass. Is there anything else ChaCha can help you out with?

"Q: What is the top speed of a 1985 pontiac fiero five speed v6
A:The top speed for the 1985 is 103 mph. The next year, however, Pontiac increased the speed of the 1986 to 125 mph! ChaCha!:"

"Q: How much does a 1988 Pontiac Fiero cost in the blue book
A:Kelley Blue Book didn't go back to 1988, I did find another site that listed a 1988 Pontiac Fiero worth $9,000 in good condition."

ChaCha sounds like exactly what it is.... a bunch of Chach!

what I thought was entertaning about the speed answer was how they noted that in 86 "Pontiac increased the speed to 125 mph." Like they just raised the speed govenor or something! haha

How about this one, where the horsepower will vary depending on the weight of the car and driver....

Q: How much horsepower does a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT have

A 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT has a horsepower of about 140 BPH, but will vary based on the combined weight of the car and the driver.

sooooo.....if i lose weight, my engine will get an increase in horsepower? i wonder what the gain in hp to weight ration is for the amount of weight i lose ?

Thats it I am going on a diet. So I do not have to do an engine swap to the 3.4 or 3.8. Now should I go South Beach diet or call Jenni Craig?

The motor is IN the hood? My hood seems rather thin. Must be one of those so-called "pancake" motors. And if that's IN there, then why is there also a big iron thing at the other end of the car, UNDER the deck lid? :-)

This is very true. However, motor mounts seems to be the more accepted way of refering to engine mounts.

I agree, but I was trying to be funny. I usually fail, but I keep trying new ideas, hoping to learn how to be funny.

I've had an oil change place open my hood and come back to ask me where the engine is... I told the kid it's powered by hamsters that are under the spare tire. the moron said "ok" and checked for it i don't go there anymore.

And one autozone workers saw me filling up my clutch fluid and asked where the motor was... told him my sun roof is a solar panel. The worst part was he actually believed me and left before i could tell him the truth. LOL!

Wish i could have seen that post before some poser used Archies name for it.
