My car has better paint. And that's saying a LOT Also, it needs a bath, especially the engine bay.

Looks like AC was converted to R134A, does it work? If so, I'd say $800 since it's an auto duke.

R134A is the modern refrigerant used in cars, Fieros originally came with R12, which is environmentally unfriendly. You can see in the underhood pic it has the newer style fitting on the accumulator (with the blue cap on it). The old R12 fittings would be like the black cap is on the side of the accumulator, where Fieros with the DA6 and HR6 compressors have the pressure cycling switch. Being an 87 4 cylinder, your car would have the V5 compressor, and not need that switch.

How many Fieros did it take to build those two? That's also the only reason I'm hesitant to put a fastback clip and bumpers on my car, having a GT body with the duke just seems so WRONG...

The 87 is completely stock except for its side skirts, they are the 84 skirts. Swapped them

My 84 on the other hand is made up of many cars, but after I sell the 87 I will paint my 84. Then go into engine swap mode.

*the 87 is going up to Tampa by the way... so if anyone up in Tampa sees it you know where it came from

I bought a gold '87 duke 5-speed last year and gave about $1200 for it. The paint was faded very badly but not quite as bad as yours. The interior looked better, too. It had a radio and good seat covers.

Yours might be very reliable and in great shape for an unrestored 23 year old car but to say it is near mint is to open yourself up for a lot of bashing. You might have been proud of it but that statement will make you sound like a dishonest horse trader.

I think $1000 is fair for both parties.

Jonathan
