I found out where all the old Fiero's go today!

I know, I know - It's spelled Fiero - with one "r" but this is in New Mexico and they have a certain "flair" when it comes to the spelling and pronunciation of Spanish and Italian words!

Sorry. I'l go back to working on my car now.....

Oh, I want that sign
Old Fiero's never die they get rebuilt, chopped up, or parted out to help other Fieros to live on with some of their parts.

All too many of them have ended up here.

You are right Rick. It's pretty bad when you start looking for all things Fiero.

I buy damn near every fiero I find in a boneyard. If there's anything left on it at all it ends up in my side yard, stripped to nothing, then sent back where I got it. They actually have my number on file and call me when they get one in.. It's kind of a wierd deal. Yeah, I know. I got the sickness.

I wish more people would realize this... but I can guarantee to you that if you put that car up on eBay or Craig's list... it would have sold. At the very least, sell it for the price the junk yard was willing to give you for the scrap metal...

That Fiero looked pretty solid from this angle and could have provided a lot of joy to a new owner. I only junk a car if I know it's either totally worthless, or is in no hope of being repaired. IE: like my 97 Grand Am SE http://www.pontiacperforman...t/car97GASE_OLD.html

looks like it had no engine/trans.

perhaps it was a lost cause....rust, wrecked, who knows. I have seen fieros nicer that this get crushed. Indy's, T-Tops....

some day people will regret it. In highschool I remember walking through junk yards and seeing 60's fastback mustangs, mach-1's, convertibles, 55,56,57 belair's, even an ss 396 once. A rusted out hulk of any one of them today would bring thousands.

could be the same for these little Fieros someday, who knows.

I STILL see this in my local junkyard. Check out my Junkyard page.

I still have several "trips" to add to it. One of which included a Rolls Royce and a Maserati Quattroporte.

The car was rust free, almost all there. I tried to GIVE IT AWAY, and no one showed up. However, I was mistaken... a friend I never really considered a friend grabbed it before it met it's demise. It may just live again

Been up by Silver City Pat? Yep, been through Fierro NM a couple of times. My wife also has a customer named Mr. Fierro that comes into the pharmacy on a regular basis. Yes, he's heard of the car She tells him that he is her husband's hero!

Tell her to bad. Face it, wives will be mad at husbands for something no matter what, they are never happy. Might as well get a car out of it.
