I keep getting PMs about this, and I searched CRX intake and only got two hits with no pics, and going through my old photos I found these pics, so I figured I'd post it up.
I bought a BOMZ racing cold air intake, like $50 on ebay. The 2 piece version.
Un-cut it fits like this
I then cut it like this
Then cut a straight section out of your other tube if you want to move the filter out closer to the inlet in your 1/4
You have to drill and tap a hole for the IAT sensor, and I ran the vacuum feed to the pcv bung on the CRX intake. I then used some tubing to route breather for the front valve covers PCV. I didn't like the idea of a breather under a covered hot part of the hood, so I used hose to run a APC breather under the decklid vents. That's preference.
These pics, and the install is from about two years ago, but hopefully this helps the guys who pm'ed me about the installation, and now something will come up in the search.
Oh yeah, sit back relax, and enjoy an awesome sound and no performance gain haha, but mines still on my car 2 years later, with an open exhaust the open intake makes it sound like an old ferrari.
