I live in s. florida away from the beach, im leaving my 84 Fiero in an outside garage with a concrete floor. Im trying to prevent rust & any kind of heat or sun wear.. Suggestions? Anyways should i get a car cover or just the reflector that goes over my windsheild?

Will the bottom of the car rust out if left outside? (not on grass but concrete)

Also i will have my dad crank it on every weekend.

You might want to jack the car up and leave it on jack stands. This will prevent flat spots on the tires. Make sure you treat all external rubber with a conditioner and maybe cover it, as the Sun will dry it out and make it crack. A good car cover will prevent the interior from fading, if the car is in direct Sunlight. You should also add some Stabil to your gasoline. It will go bad from sitting that long. You can hook up a battery maintener to prevent the battery from draining.

Put some "Stable" in the fuel tank, and fill it up so there is no room for condensation. Drive a few miles with the gas additive in it to get it up in the injectors good.
