My wife is a registered nurse at a cancer treatment hospital in Detroit. She works with bone marrow transplant patients. Well about 5 days ago she was telling me about one of her patients and how he was one of the engineers that designed the Fiero. Of course my wife told him about my love for the Fiero and all the Fiero's I've owned through the years. She even took in my 25th anniversary photo for him to see.

Well this man was really pleased to hear about someone who was so into Fiero's that he gave my wife a little gift to give to me.

Here it is:

It's a P-body tie tack. Apparently these were given as gifts to all the engineers who worked on the Fiero (P-body is the designation for the Fiero chassis). I think I'm going to find a way to affix inside my Fiero somehow.

Anyways, I hope this person pulls through and makes a full recovery and maybe then I can thank him in person.

EDIT: change 'cufflink' to 'tie tack'

Tie-tack, cuff link, yadda yadda yadda; that's friggin' cool! I guess HEPA laws prevent the release of his name but it'd be neat to find out who this gentleman is and see if he'd be interested in a membership here at PFF.

The logo was used a lot during the per-production of the Fiero. I've even seen it used up until about 1985. The same basic logo was also being used for what was to have been the second generation of Fiero.

I'm not sure when this is from for sure but would guess it to be about 1983 or 84. It may be later then that because of the Fiero Logo is part of it.
