I started this post to just make people aware of the of the manufacturers of performance and aftermarket equipment that have recently gone out of business. Its good to keep track of this as it may influence your buying decison.
Here are the ones that I am aware of:
1. Performance Wheels- a large manufacturer of aluminum wheels. They made beautiful stuff!
2. Crane Cams- reported in another post but its true. They are done.
3. Northern Auto Parts- a long time discount parts supplier. Remember their catalogs?
4. GM Performance Parts div. No surprise here.
5. Powertrain Control Solutions- makers of stand alone electronic transmisson control modules.
6. Haltech USA- makers of aftermarket ECM's
7. FastFieros of Dallas
