Thrills? I called you an ass hole for linking to a post of your own hogwash and attributing it to me. I see you have responded with another of your many personal attacks, all of which have been completely uncalled for. If your intention was not to stray from the purpose of this thread, you would not have posted that link.

Yet another personal attack. This is exactly why I called you out in the first place. Rather than owning up to it and apologizing, you went back and edited your post to try and make me out to be a bad guy. Now you say I post misleading info, while you are off in the thread you have linked to from here promoting some ridiculous conspiracy theory about my identity to try and get me banned. THAT is misleading and I am surprised that such gross misconduct is allowed on this forum.

Continuing to post personal attacks directed at me (as you have done in this thread and at least 2 others) because of a prior transaction which did not involve you in any way is really not appropriate. I will continue to contribute to the forum despite however many negative ratings I may have been hit with because of your continued harassment. I hope your lack of class does not represent the rest of this forum. You also might want to do a little research on evolution before making such asinine comments.

I have never suggested in any way that you should cease warning others about your transaction with Cory. I simply asked you not to drag me into it, as I was not involved. I have only posted in this particular thread in response to antagonistic comments you have posted about me.

If you have something to say to me, please do so via PM. Your derogatory posts here have become redundant and are completely off topic.

Try not to let that chip on your shoulder weigh you down.

The thrills statement was a joke on me figuring out what ***hole translated into. "Manhole" was the joke. OK, not so funny, but I try

The rest is a result of your obvious attempt to step in and post in my sale thread to try to make any prospective buyers think that the Fino kit is in the same crappy-quality class as the GT40 kit Cory sells - which could not be farther from the truth. Give me some credit for being able to understand people like you. There will be more to replace people like you. I understand that. At least I have a lot of experience.

Sorry my replies seem redundant. I have nothing new to say that I hasn't already been said. I just have to keep saying it since my points are not taken.

If we go to PM's, you will only think of more creative names for me, so why go there when it accomplishes nothing? The ball is in your court, so you can either keep going with it or simply quit trying to make sense of what you do.

Cheers!

BTW - avoid the GT40 kits that Cory sells (for the new guys)

Kit cars do not assemble themselves and even the very best product Archie sells in kit form requires attention to detail during assembly. If you mean to say that Cory did a good job building your car, go ahead and say so.

By "people like me" you must mean people who warn others about work done by Cory. I guess we have more in common than just fieros, eh? Cheers.

Anyway, someone sent me a link to a GT40 kit on eBay (Thanks!)

It is item # 250224223275 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...ash=item250224223275

This doesn't look like Cory's work - and it's in Denver - with a 4.9 installed. Worth a look, anyway.

That ebay kit is a 1967 Mark 2 ASPP kit. (Same as mine). It needs a lot of work but it has potential.

Bump to keep this alive (and warning others)

I did manage to find time to get the trans mounts off my Fino today. They were original, so the new welded solid mounts will make a huge difference.

Cheers!

Just read thru this thread. The car that was delivered to Archie was just sad no amount of work could fix that and end up with a nice car. I worked in fiberglass for 7 years making boats and race car parts on the side. even drag race parts have more to them than that.

It's nice, but the only reason i like the FORD GT is for its cool looking doors that wrap around the roof, if you do have them, then don't call it a GT replica.

I have traded the Fino for a nice boat, but wanted to report that the guy I sold it to (a few weeks ago) told me that there are 8 places where he could stick his thumb right through the fiberglass.

I had washed the car plenty of times and never felt a weak spot, but I think he was working on the car where the paint was bubbling a bit and decided to see what it was made of. Well, he found out more of what Cory's work is like. I obviously didn't know about the thin spots on the fiberglass, but it doesn't surprise me at all after seeing the GT-40 kit that Arhie has of his.

The buyer said he still wants to keep it. I offered to trade back but he really does like the kit. I think he planned to repaint it anyway, so the extra work is in his plans. I think he still got a good deal considering. I have some work to do on his boat that I didn't plan on, so things worked out I guess.

Seems like a nice guy, so if you see questions from a new Fino owner around Frederick, MD, lend him some advice. I'll help him out as much as I can, but I haven't had much time to "play" here on PFF since starting the new job.

I gotta find another Fiero! I feel naked without one!

Glad to hear your still out there and doing well. Civilian work is a bit different isn't it! Hope you get back into Fieros soon. PS thanks for the continued warnings as it applies to shoddy workmanship & business practices.
