I want to set the correct tone of this post first.
Our forum member "wayman" who is Paul of Paul's Auto Detailing, due to medical reasons and the tough economics has been forced to close his business by the end of April. He's located in Port Charlotte FL, near Punta Gorda.
Paul has been a great friend, coming to my rescue many times with my, and other s.w. fl members various Fiero problems, helping at little or no cost to get us back on the road.
I'm going to be listing some of the items / pic's & prices he has for sale, but I want you all to think 1st, before saying the prices are to high, Paul is losing his only income and fighting a medical problem.
These item's are available for pick up only, he does not have the ability to ship the items. (Only two items are noted to ship)
If you plan to pick up items, please bring a helper to lift any heavy items, as Paul is unable to do heavy lifting at this point.
I'm planing to post in another post, a Car show in Punta Gorda on Saturday April 11 if anyone plans to come, you can pick up parts then.
Please be respectful, and hold any mean comments over prices.
I'm copying this from notes Paul gave me.

It is sad when you hear of any business closing. Here is the result ofyears of one mans work and it is unfortunate that this business has to close. Please convey my prayers and best wishes to Paul that he may be healed. The prices on the Fiero parts are reasonable and should sell. If I lived closer I would be buying some of them. Coolblue, you are doing a good thing in trying to help out Paul. The Lord once said " those that do for the least among us do for me" I don't believe that anyone can say it better.

I'm sorry to hear about Paul's condition. I wish him the best outcome possible.
Too bad all of that stuff can't be loaded into a trailer and brought to the swap meet at the Fiero Factory, at the end of April. I'll bet much of it would be snapped up.
Good prices! I see at least two items that I would jump on, but I don't have a way to get them.

More details on the wagon please- year, engine/tranny, mileage etc....I've got a friend looking for a daily driver and that might be what he needs. Thanks!

Give Paul a call, I didn't write down any info about the car. He did tell me the air is ice cold, and it runs very good. I think it's a v6.

Gang, That was Paul. I helped him get on the internet to type the above message, and due to his eye site, I became "god", he meant "good"
Those that are wanting parts, please rely on leaving messages on his shop phone.
Paul won't be able to see any PM messages that were sent to him. I forwarded all the PM messages I got to Paul by phone.
Tuesday he has doctor appointments, Paul will be at the shop from 6pm - 8pm at the latest.

Since Paul's answering machine is acting up, call his cell phone number direct : (941) 268-0746
He needs to start hearing from the guys that expressed an interest via my PM messges. I gave him the messages, but we don't have any phone numbers to call you all back
Here's a few more photos of his stuff.

Wow, what a day I had on Saturday. I came out and picked through some stuff, found a few parts I really needed. Wish I had some more money with me when I went, I would have walked out with a lot more. This place is amazing guys, there were literally so many Fiero parts there that I spent over 2 hours there and didnt even see all of them. Dave, please thank Paul for me again and wish him well. I bought one of the engines so I will be back in a week or so to pick it up.
Seriously folks, if you want it for a Fiero, its there. Its worth the trip even if you live in another state to check it all out. Help a good friend and fellow Fiero guy out, hes going through a lot right now.

This is Robert, Co father of Sampson. We had a really good turn out Saterday at Pauls shop. I truely hope we can keep folks coming in to pick through stuff at Pauls. I will be at the shop nightly moving stuff around if anyone wants to shop up and look for parts. I get there between 5 and 6 and stay to around 8. If you are interested in small parts and if I have time I may be willing to drop some of this stuff to be shipped. Just not large stuff.
Sorry but the Red 88 4 cylinder 5 speed that was in the second bay came home with me last night. so she is sold. ;-) Talk about a nice ride. Paul did a killer job on that car.
Dave you have any of those pics from the car show in 07 at the park still? I know you had them posted on here but I have no clue were. lol
Hope to see more of you folks this weekend or during the week nights. There is still a smoke load of stuff to go. we are only at the tip of the ice burg right now. There are so many more parts to be gone through.

Here's an idea/suggestion... If your going to post on here that you will be there nightly between 5or6-8, try being there or at least provide some contact information (that someone will answer). It really isn't any fun to drive 46 miles/1hr. (one way), get there at 7 just to find out no one is there and no one will answer either phone number provided, then have to drive back 46miles/another hr. empty handed. Now the $25.00 in parts I was going to buy, now will cost me $40.00 for the wasted gas there and back.

We talked about that tonight, we mentioned using Greyhound as a possible cheap way to send stuff.
As it's a one man operation, he has two guys that work full time else where, helping as they can after work for two or three hours a night, the shipping is kind of hard to coordinate.
They are exploring the possibility. If a 25lb item is selling for 60 bucks, the shipping might be another 20 bucks (that's a guesstimate) , would most here be willing to pay the shipping charge ?
