I would like to hear from anyone who has dealt with DrivenVisions and assessed the quality of the available fiberglass work. Was it substantially thick enough? Any surface imperfections like cracks, waves, etc.

Thanks
Bob

I have never had anything to do with them but I think you are asking the wrong questions. The strength of fibreglass has a lot more variables than thickness and in all cases too thick a panel that is too resin rich is a brittle mess waitng to happen. Every type of panel requires a different thickness and it is best to assess them basd on thier intended use and the strengths of what they are replacing. Also hand laid panels are always stronger than chopper gun made panels. Don't let anyone try to tell you different.

Hope this helps you out a little.

Well I got one of their mustang style scoops a few years back and it was unusable. The waves and chips and all. I tryed to fix it but gave up. I think their stuff has been hit and miss the last 4 years. As a matter of fact I don't think they even produce parts for Fieros any longer

Sadly the person that ran the operation passed away last year. There is a thread on it somewhere.

Yes, he passed away.

I have seen several of the parts in person, and they did improve in quality over time. His later stuff was fairly light weight, yet quite solid. If the company is still active (unsure), and the parts are still available, I would say go for it.

I'm not sure if they're still in business, but their website is still up. LINK

I never bought anything from them, but have seen/heard mixed comments about the quality of the fiberglass parts. So, all I can say is "caveat emptor".

Several people have purchase certain products one being the front dual hood scoops. Troyboy and Demacheo have the hood scoop on their cars. As was mentioned, the builder has passed away, but his products lives on.
