Today, I received the NOS decklid grille from the Fiero Store. At first glance, it was wrapped in a brand new plastic bag that was a perfect fit so I thought as usual the Fiero Store sent a reproduction. Upon unpacking it and examining the part, I realized that it truly was an original, not a reproduction. First off, the grille is perfect in every way. The paint is the flawless matte black, it has the typical "X" pattern on the rear and what I assume is the date of manufacture stamped on the rear. It truly made me realize how nice these cars were when they came off the sales lot. There was even a nice sharp piece of excess material that stabbed me in the hand from the manufacturing process

Here are the pics.

If the rest of their NOS parts look as nice as this, I would recommend everyone buying them up especially for the price. Fiero Store hit a home run with these items

I ordered all three of the NOS pieces for my 84 Indy restore. They showed up very well packed up and in great shape for 25+ years sitting in a storage warehouse.

I just bought one of each set of NOS grills they sold, along with the decklid grill. So I will let you all know what I think of them as well.

This companmy in Canada also sent me an email offering them for sale. I should have considered it. The FS did not pay much for these left over NOS parts.

Rodney, what company was this...CAE?? I don't understand why a company would have this in their hands when these items are NOS GM parts. This would of had to be a GM dealer or GM warehouse. If this is a "unknown" company, I wonder what other parts could be stached away somewhere in Canada or the US.

BTW, what does CAE stand for?? Anyone??

I also have the three piece 84 set. Very nice. I was a bit dissapointed in the 85-88 notchback set, as I got 2 different versions, one honeycomb and one louvered.
