Would appear that my new toy has a running issue. Once fully warmed up the car surges and bucks and feels like its going to stall. When the engine is cold she runs perfectly fine. When warming up you can feel the problem start to come about. When fully warm the surging and bucking are more apparent with more throttle. So I suspect a heat related issue and my 80's camaro had this which turned out to be the ignition coil. Followed the same deal with this car and did not fix it. What has been done is new plugs/wires/cap/rotor/coil. I have no cel codes and am at a total loss here. It's an 86 2M6 with 170k on the clock. I want to say fuel pump but wouldn't it do it even when cold? Grrrrr, sorry but I am frustrated

Does sound like the fuel pump. When it's cold it dumps more fuel, as it warms up it leans the fuel mixture out. Check your fuel pressure, it should be 38 to 41 psi.
