That's the DL10, owned by forum member DL10. I saw it at the 25th show, real nice car. There's more pics around here somewhere...

The DL10 Predator is a replica of the 1996 Detomaso Pantera 200, in case anybody wanted to know. It is on the forum somewhere, but just didn't feel like searching for it.

As others have said that is my car and it’s called the DL10 Predator, It is a replica of a DeTomaso Nuevo Pantera or as others said a Pantera 200. The Pantera 200 was a car most people never heard of as it was only built for a couple of years and only a few cars were built.
The DL10 was built by a man named Don Lee……that’s where the DL came from and he thought the car was a 10………DL10, Don built 3 turnkey cars, car owner #1 liked the name Predator so that’s how the car came to be called the DL10 Predator. Don envisioned selling the car as a kit but never did. He spent over 3 years building the first car. He basically carved the shape out of foam and then made molds off of those pieces. He made 3 turnkey cars each one changing a little, my car was #3 and is the only car still running. The other 2 were wrecked and never rebuilt..
I have owned the car for 11+ years and have put over 30,000 driving it to shows all over the USA. The car is still has a stock drive train and interior……maybe someday I’ll do a V-8 swap and custom interior to take the car to the next level. There are a few photos and some links on my club website at
http://chicagolandreplicar.tripod.com/dave&.htm

Don’t laugh to had at my old website it was my first attempt and I have not been able to update it for many years.

I'm not a fan of rebodies that arn't 308 kits However I must say I was amazed by your car at the 25th, it is simply pure sexy. I love it. It's agressive and sleek at the same time.. It's one sexy ride and I envy you! :P

Thanks for the kind words......I think people either love it or hate it. I don't think the car takes a good picture, I know I almost didn't go look at the car because the pictures didn't thrill me. But when we saw it right there in front of us there was no doubt that I would be driving it home.

The builder still has the molds.......he wanted $80,000 for them when I bought the car. The were not really thick production molds, so you would have to make new molds if you wanted to make any real number of kits...Way to much work and money for me . I hope he never makes any more......it's kind of nice knowing you will never see a nicer Predator than the one I have.

I really don't think you said anything to me about the Predator........And like I said earlier, people either love it or hate it. I could care less about the hater’s opinions. Call my car anything you want........I'm proud to call it mine. Now quit trying to be like Shanna and go work on your fast POS..
