I can't decide between fixing both my pop up head lights or to just go with recessed headlights. What kind of kits are their for recessed headlights, I've seen some and the y look nice.

The only reason I personally wouldn't go with recessed lights is the beam pattern. Recessing the lights in the stock location kills your peripheral and low angle lighting.

While that's a true statement, you can add very small driving lights to the lower front to take care of the 25 ft blind spot in front of the car. Flush mounts would also benefit expressway mpg, as the stock head lamps/doors are pretty big air dams. What ever you do, make sure you do a good installation, and aim the lights properly (or the law will be pulling you over).

I have Kris Munson's units. Kris makes a very professional product. It uses Camaro lights. Lighting only suffers maybe 10-15' at ground level, but not a foot off ground. The peripheral light is just fine. If you order them, get the delux kit with wiring already done. It is worth it.

Kris make them at home so you may have to wait a bit on your order depending how busy he is.

I wouldn't change my decision to buy them

I used to have the Kris Munson headlights on my car. While they looked cool and were aerodynamic, the light output was terrible. It was no fault of Kris. The Camaro bulbs are just weak. Even with a pair of Hella driving lights, the light output and beam pattern were nothing to brag about. The driving lights actually put out more light than the headlights. I eventually ditched the flush-mount lights, in favor of Hella 90mm slim pop-ups.

I would need good light output, in hawaii there has been a bunch of people stealing the copper wire from street lights so alot of the roads are completely dark, especially the highway by my house. What cost would I be looking at, and is their a HID option. Where can I purchase these kits, Mahalo

I guess it doesn't get as dark at night in Ontario as it does in Florida. I used to be into high output lights, like four H4's across but I just don't need it these days.

If you are driving in the country on an unlit road I can sure understand why you want Halide lights. The set of Munson lights I have light up all four on high beam so I just don't have a problem. I may put in high output bulbs but I'm not in a hurry.
