Check out my car, I've been working on it for a while now I think excotise is the only guy on this forum that's seen pics of it , so here's some video of it. It's built on a 87 fiero chasssis with a 3800 na engine , flowmaster exhaust with big bore monza tips. It sounds real good IMO. I did all the work myself except for paint, but I did do most of the body work. I re-wired the entire car upgraded suspention I also did my own upholstery work. The dash top has been changed to black since these videos for drivability reason's. I also did all the mods myself.
Great looking car but what is up with the exhaust tips? They don't look even. One looks like it is angled differently than the other and appears to be further back into the bodywork. I'm sorry to say this but, on a great looking car like that, a minor imperfection like that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for all the Comments, just seeing the look on peoples face and the commnets make the project complete IMO .
HI-TECH, The color is made by due pount hot hues candy orange over a silver metallic base.
avengador1, the car is not 100% complete, I just did the exhaust work that morning before the show. Believe me when it's 100% complted it will be even and any other aspect of the car I'm not satisfied with I will redo it till I'm satisfied. But I do welcome any and all critism or suggestions. There's always room for improvement on anything and with a project like this I'm sure I will always improve on it. Heck I'm already thinking about some more mods(13" rotors , orange carbon fiber roof etc) and another paint job.
I will take pics of the interior and post them on my photobucket site tonite
Tony , Thanks for posting the pics and the kind words! I don't know about the 25th fiero show, my car is not 100% complete . That would be an event I would love to attend though.

I'm a bit interested in the rear of the car. Is that work that you did? I just ask because I notice you said you did a great deal of the body work and that rear is a bit different than anything I've seen on any Diablo kit. Overall the car is quite stunning for a replica.

Yes David that's me, how's everything going? Do you still have your lambo body? Didn't think you would remember the lambo comunity after that pantera project..LOL !!!!!! I switched engine and tranny's from the original one I started way back when, that caddy trans stuck to far out the bottom of the car and I didn't like it. However I didn't have that logitudinal set-up working.

Hey Rod, That's sure one fine roller you've put together. Good things take time, and it's obvious your persistance paid off.
Yes, I've still got the Diablo body. I'd just finished the CRP-type chassis and the longitudinal install when the Pantera came along. The Diablo sets up on blocks, under two tarps, awaiting either a buyer or a fresh start. ;>
By chance, will you be at the 25th Detroit show ?

Yeah I remember that Bio and the car in the pic is not the car I currently have. I switched bodies back in 2005 for the ease of an easier build. I sure wish that site was still around. Wow, that was way back when when I didn't even have a garage to wrok in. I stretched the car in my driveway. (talk about determination) I have since built a garage now.
David, I'm thinking about attending the 25th but I won't have my car there. i have a friend in detriot that keeps begging me to come see her so I'll make the best outta the trip if I decide to go. I'd love to see all the custom fieros there to get my mind going some more on my fiero project. What are you looking to get for the diablo? Who's body was that yous started with?

I built a CRP-type chassis, which CRP sold for $4,500 + shipping
The CRP chassis is fitted to a trimed Fiero "tub"
Final spot welding of the chassis to the tub is not done, to permit a final sandblasting and painting, if desired.
The Diablo cost @ $5,000.
The only thing I've done to the Diablo body is to sand away all the parting mold lines. My intention was to splash a mold before building it up.
Right now, a reasonable offer in the vicinity of $5,000 takes the Diablo, the CRP chassis & tub, and I'll throw in a brand new Citation power steering rack, if you want it.
I'm willing to trailer anywhere east of the Rockies for fuel only.
Given the recent blood thirsty appatite of the Lambo lawyers, and untouched body might have some unusual potential.

Finally got around to making my arm rest and speaker box. Then I upholstered it today! The arm rest and speaker box made of MDF and fiberglass. Passenger side next!!!!!!!
I just browsed all the pages myself and to think I starting this back in 2003, I've been through 2 bodies, chassis re-work , 3 different engines and it's now almost complete,
