Nice run and times are looking good. The 3800 is really stepping up to the plate and putting down some nice numbers.

Wow, that's fast. The launch was great. I imagine if you launched like that with the getrag it would probably blow it up?

I had trouble with the wmv file too, even after downloading it...perhaps it is because of my distinct lack of Microsoft on my system. Hope you don't mind, but I converted it to an avi with divx encoding....if it helps anyone else see this, you can get the converted one at http://www.cowspatoot.com/downloads/114.avi

Great run, BTW....

Thanks for all the compliments....

I will have to take some pics of the car and interior. The paint is actually not all that good, it just looks good from a distance. The nose paint is cracked and scratched, chips all over, but the new Mr. Mikes seats make the inside look good.

Don, I think it had more in it, the air got better that night, but I was trying to not get kicked off the track. So I slowed it down, next run was a 11.8 @ 89 MPH on the brakes. I ended up accidentally running 11.48 the next day in the heat, and they asked me not to come back without a roll bar. I think I could have gotten a 11.3x out of it on Friday with the shift point changes that I made Saturday, and the better air.

I don't think that is tire smoke coming off of the car. It seems to smoke a bit for the first half of the run, and then clear up. I don't know if it is condesation in the exhaust or what it is, but I'm not too concerned about it.

I used to have a four speed in this car. I now have 6 or so pieces of spider gear, and one gear with no teeth on it. I threw the blown up case away, as well as the bent clutch pressure plate. That was running 1.7x 60 foots, so I would have to say a getrag would probably last less than a day.

Mobile, the wife says thanks for saying awesome footage. She doesn't get much thanks for doing it, but she does a great job.

Hi Cory, (LFiero67)

Great video from the Pavement Pounders.

Now I have the urge to "Borrow" my sister's '97 Grand Prix 3800SC for a couple of days.
Wonder if she will notice the 2.8L engine in her car, after I swap it for the 3800SC?

Hope to see you and the other Lethbridge PFF'ers at Street Wheelers.

Met Trevor (Oneredfiero) this morning.
He is currently "Fieroless" and looking for a new ride.
He is toying with the idea of starting a Lethbridge Fiero Club chapter, and collecting names and numbers.
