ok i want to plug in my radar dector in my car but even when the ignition is off my cig lighter is still getting power to it. is this normal or not i know some cars the lighters dont shut off when you turn the car off is the fiero one of those cars? i know this is a simple stupid question but i just got to know. and sorry about the misspelling. (hooked on phonics did not work for me)

Completely normal.....the lighter is always "hot".
