I got all excited last night because I thought I fixed my clutch problem on my Fiero, well I was sort of wrong, that little hole in the clucth line was only one problem. I took it out to drive it around today and well, you guessed it, it would go into gear. I got looking and I found that I had clutch fluid on the floor boards. So now I need a Clutch Master Cylinder, I really do not want to by one from NAPA, because the quality of their parts are horrible, So with all that being said I am asking you all where would be a good place to buy a Clutch Master Cylinder? I would rather pay good money for a good quality, to save me another headache, but if someone has found one that is good quality at an afforable price, that would be awesome. Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: I forgot to say its a Second Design Clutch Master Cylinder.

To be very frank about it, IMHO about 80% of the aftermarket masters out there come off the same assembly line. Heck I went to the local Delco dealer and had them pull me a Delco branded Slave and a Cheapo Branded slave. The Delco was about $100 and the Cheep one was $60 we pulled them both from the packaging. They had the exact same casting numbers, design and were identical. We boxed them both up, I drove down the road to Napa, had them show me there "house brand" we pulled it from the box, the price was $39 and guess what it was the exact same one. I just laughed, told the parts guy the story, he laughed sold me the part and I have never had a problem with it. I always take the receipt toss it in the box and toss it on the top shelf in my garage "just in case" anything happens. I say call around, find out what the price vs warranty is on masters in your area. Go with whatever is comfortable for you. I think in the 13+ years I have been driving and working on various Fiero's I have only ever seen 2 masters truly go bad. So I would say even a cheap one should last for a fairly long time.

Thanks for the advice, Do you have the parts number from NAPA for the Clutch Master Cylinder? I have had alot of problems with some of NAPA's parts, mostly electrical stuff, like Batterys and Starters. So I will give them another shot, just because there isn't a whole lot of choices for parts stores around here. Thanks!

I went to the dealer and they said they couldn't get the master cylinder... so I went down the street to a Parts+Plus chain and had them look up an AC Delco master cylinder. I expected to get one of the aftermarket-style cast iron ones.... but no! It was actually a welded steel black powder-coated original style master cylinder; brand new! I'm not sure if they're still available, but definitely try an AC Delco dealer to see if you can get these. They're the same as the stock ones and should last just as long (i.e. 15+ years).
This was only a year or two ago, by the way, so hopefully some are still out there. It was ~$115.
Note that the flange was slightly thinner than the stock flange... so apparently it was a different production run than the original Fiero ones. I wonder how many are out there..
