I was drunk last night and let one of my friends borrow my car to take someone home and i woke up this morning and the inside is trashed... The cigarette lighter is in pieces my stereo isn't working and my right ashtray door is busted of.. plus theres a hole in my headliner. I might be able to fix the lighter.. i just found it disassembled, and if i can figure out how to put it back together it might work... If i can maybe glue the broken piece of the door it might be ok, and I don't know whats wrong with my stereo.. the fuse looked ok...

Thats what happens when 2 people try to have sex in a Fiero! LOL Sorry to hear about the problems but check out www.fierostore.com They sell lighters and ashtray doors and things you need.

My best advice when it comes to your Fiero is to "NOT" do any dealings with www.kitcarman.com

Check fuses, if the lighter is torn up you may have just blown a fuse.

LOL I bet your right.
Screw the knob off and just buy a new lighter at the parts store. Try the help section at advanceauto

sound like you got a blown fuss for the stero. i had my stock one in my car and it wuld lose the preset and time. so i replaced the stero with an aftermarket one thinking there was a short in the unit it self. but the aftermarket one was not working when i pluged it in. it was not getting a cnstant surce. i knew my horn was not working at the time so i started to pull each and every fuss there was and checking them. turned out to be a fuss. hit your horn and see if it works if not then it may be that one fuss. but for me it was a win win thing i got a new radio and now everything works. sorry about my speeling it sucks right now.

Just be glad they didnt wreck your car, thats small stuff compared to what COULD HAVE happened when you let someone borrow your car.

thanks allot its all fixed now and my aftermarket stereo is also working again. It was the horn fuse. I also fixed the cigarette lighter and repaired the ashtray door with some special apoxy I have. Now the only thing wrong is the hole in the headliner... but thats getting replaced soon anyway.

I wouldn't let anyone drive your Fiero again. Thats why I never let anyone I don't trust or know drive my cars.

I suppose your buddy was more hammered than you were. But how could you possibly know this, if you were also so drunk, that you let another drunk drive your Fiero! Lesson learned...

Cordially,
Kevin

If you used epoxy to fix the lighter, make sure it can handle the heat. Fire in a fiero (!?) - who would ever think of such a thing ....

Nope just on the ash tray lid, all i had to do for the lighter was bend the metal tabs back abit.
